I don’t have a printer, so for anyone like me, you can definitely get thank you cards for cheap from Walmart or dollar stores. They’re not as personalized that way, but for someone starting out it can be really difficult to justify buying a whole printer for printing cards. I was able to make business cards at a friend’s house, otherwise you can try going to a library to use theirs. They’ll likely charge you to print, but it’s cheaper than buying a printer.
You could also maybe try getting cardstock and stamps or stencils from a place like Michael. You could trim down the paper to make 4-6 cards from each sheet, in which case you can get about 200-300 from a $7 pack and also have a bit more freedom with customizing your cards.
Hi! I start my custom crochet business in 2 weeks but I was wondering how do you handle sizing for clothing and if you could possibly do a video on that? And if you can give some tips on marketing on social media?
Can you make a video about how you got your small business started? Like how long it took to get your first order, how you advertised youself? I just got my small business started and am looking for ways to grow it
The only thing I would add is to invest in a small scale. You can buy them on amazon, ebay, etc, and they are really cheap. Even a small kitchen scale, if selling and shipping small items, will work just fine. It is extremely helpful in shipping items out at the correct weight. Especially if using USPS, if you under guess the weight, they will charge you for the correct weight. And most of the time that can cost more than if you purchased the label online.
