No wonder he doesn't make cooking videos every day, or even every week. He prepared them painstakingly. Takes a lot of time and effort. Not to mention all the editing. Awesome! ☺
agreed if you want quality it has to be done right and you need to put your love and passion into it. A 30min dish takes me 4hrs to shoot and few days to edit .
True. I also cook and made a video from it. And it's really not easy and my hands are getting very dry from washing. Because i need to wash my hands before touching my camera and before touching food... And i dont have many tripods like him.
Let's not forget that high end material which is pricy is not reflective of the quality of the work.. A good camera doesn't mean a good video caster or photographer But a good photographer will do good with anything!
I remember messaging you on one of your IG stories asking you to show us what happens behind the scenes and I'm glad we finally got to see it! For one person to do the directing, filming, editing, not to mention the cooking; you are just so amazing! I can see how passionate you are with your craft and that's the reason why I love all of your videos. Thank you. :)
I'm so proud of you Ryoya, you set your goals and follow them. You're really someone I look up to. And by the way, your English is not as bad as you made it sound to be. I'm all here to watch your growth in confidently producing English videos. Love you, from one human being to another.
I always knew how much work has to go into running a RU-vid channel but just watching you work briefly is just amazing and reminds how much I really appreciate that people like you do this for us ❤️
I'm impressed how fast you share your vlogs. I know it takes so much work to plan content, film, edit, put subtitles, etc. Add to that, you're so productive on other thing too -- like timeboxing piano, cello and English practice. 😄 Mad discipline!
I just really appreciate the time and effort you put into all of your videos. Visually pleasing and you could see your style copied everywhere! Thank you man don’t ever stop!
I feel like you are genuinely passionate about what you do and it makes your content 10 times better! Continue you hard work, only great things ahead :D
I feel like I’m watching something I shouldn’t be, like I’m learning too many of Ryoya’s secrets!! 😅 super cool to see the behind the scenes tho, thank you!!
Thanks for showing us all the behind the scene on what it takes to create a video as a self content creator! It''s a lot of prep work, camera setup and editing. Much respect to you 🙏
Seeing Ryoya san having to do retakes feels so surreal bc your videos always seem so perfect xD its a nice change to see the behind the scenes!! Thank you Ryoya san!!
I love your videos and been watching them since you started your channel. I always feel relaxed watching your cooking! It's good to get a glimpse behind the scenes to see how much work it actually is!
Indirectly we're learning the Japanese Language from you too. Every time you speak in Japanese first, I try to understand what you were trying to say and sometimes when I understood before you speak in English it makes me very happy.
I think you're one of the best youtuber in the world, really... you always bring something cool to watch and it's always a pleasure to learn from you!! Thanks :D
This was cool. It was interesting to see your process behind the scenes and it gave me a further appreciation of how much work goes into these videos. Keep up the exceptional work!
Thank you so much for posting this! Cooking videos are hard to shoot and even the simplest of things like opening a cap can take several attempts to get the perfect shot. I'm so glad you did not edit that out. This was amazing.
Thank you Ryoya, this gives me motivation and energy to keep creating my own videos as well. You're such an inspiration! I'm still far away from making such quality but thank you for this video!
As a photographer, I already knew you put in tons of work based on the high quality videos you provided but after watching this video, I think I haven’t give you enough credit. You’re amazing. Hope to see more contents related to BTS cinematography from your channel.
This living space Ryoya has set up for himself, my god it is magnificent. I wish I could emulate it but my interior design skills are not so good and my wife has some aesthetic disagreements with me lol
Oh my Gosh I couldn't stop laughing as you did the opening of the jar so many times 😂😂😂 this is literally so much work. But bless you for doing it anyway cause these videos are the best!!!!!!
Your videos are beautiful! I love ❤️ love your style! Great lessons for me to learn! Most people watching don’t realize this but, Yes, cooking & filming at the same time is hard and takes a lot longer than usual...oh, don’t forget the editing too! Thank you for sharing your expertise with the world! 🙏💕🇨🇦
👍😍Wow! That’s a lot of work. I have so much appreciation for what you do. @8:33 I love those little Ball jars, I have severa and they really come in handy. Thanks for sharing your set up and your amazing cooking videos.🤗💞🤗
I love it... you are so talented! I really relate to the difficulties of shooting alone, especially when you're a perfectionist. When you recorded and then retook the shot of opening the jar, I totally understood that!
I remember watching one of his soba making video few years back and he use something like (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧ to translate "yosh", that was the most accurate translation for "yosh" IMHO 😂
Wow. Beautiful pictures and it’s crazy how much effort you put in it. For my needs it is a little bit too much but i take a lot of inspiration out of it. Thanks man
Hi Ryoya-san! I really enjoyed watching your content for a few years now, and since you wanted to vlog more this year, i was wondering if a house tour is in the planning? Your house looks so amazing and i love how you have a lot of natural light source, so it would be cool to see it in a vlog one day!
Ryoya-san. This is a great video. Thank you for sharing your behind the scenes process. It made me laugh in that I'm not the only one that goes to such lengths to get the shot in my own kitchen. All the best!
Lovely videos! I enjoyed watching both, the process and final one. So relaxing. Thanks for sharing this point of view. Can I ask you about your tripod?? Was expecting to find it on the equipment section; seems soooo useful.
Thank you for presenting your tips video like an insight into youtube video production rather than a sales video of the equipment or sponsored equipment you're using.
Wonderful video. I have been following your channels for years and it's really awesome how they have grown. Keep up the good work. It's really enjoyable to watch :).
How YOU Doooin? 😏😄 It looks like a TON of work goes into making you cooking videos, but I do LOVE them 🥰. Btw! Your English has gotten better and better! I would love to learn Japanese, what is the best way to learn?
I have never subscribed so quickly! I just found your channel and I love the dual language content! I studied Japanese in university and love coffee. Two of my favorite things in a video!
I love video like this! behind the scene of another video. I hope you can make more videos like this again! (I'm sure it is so complicated. 1. cooking 2. cooking video 3. video behind the scene. moreover, cooking need fast movement)
0:01 is that Vietnamese beans that im seeing? If it is, awesome!!! Hi Ryoya, I just got a small question that I really hope you can help me out. Im also using a Rode videomic pro plus on my camera, but somehow the sound I got is as great as yours. May I ask what is the set up with the mic you are using? Do you do any audio post production later? Thank you so much! Your works really inspired me!
Perfection! Seems that you work in perfection, in whatever you do. No wonder the quality of your videos and its content absolutely beyond others. Salute...
