How I shower inside the vehicle｜The way with a minimum of water 

Love that you show that you can do van life without a Sprinter van and an expensive build-out.

When I lived in other countries, and we had very little water, this is how I bathed. I always felt clean! Thank you for showing how this can be done in a very small space!!

Was going to sell my Sienna to get something bigger but after watching this, I'm keeping the Sienna and build it up. Thank you for sharing this.

I have a high top van, so will hang a shower curtain from the ceiling, into this type of popup tub and use a battery-powered submersible water pump in a collapsible bucket with warm water.

I have searched for a half height bathing option so that I can have a sponge bath without splashing water everywhere. I had an idea in my mind, and this is the first solution that matches. Thank you for your update on your satisfaction with it and for the links.

I very often was out at work in the company pickup truck, not a cap on the truck bed, for three days at a time sleeping in the truck's cab. I just got those cleaner spray bottles, usually about 32 oz, you find in the cleaner section of hardware stores. Parking in a spot where people did not walk by I cleaned myself starting with my shirt off. Then dropped my pants to my knees and repeated. Had a wash cloth and towel in the truck as well as clean clothes. Not as nice as a shower but sufficient.

For that matter, it would serve as privacy around a portable toilet, too

The 🚿 shower dilemma doesn't bother me. In Europe there are still homes with a store,bakery ...that don't have showers. The room with a bucket and sponge and soap.i lived like that for many years.Now the toilet would bother me. Luckily I had a toilet. If my hair and hidden body orifices didn't get water that would be hell. I think we must get used to not having a so called perfect daily life .✌️🤗👋 Great tub!!!!!

There are portable showers for campers that are popup, like tents. Or, you can simply get a popup tent for cheap and do it outside without the constraints of the vehicle. Of course, not in the middle of winter. I think if I were a car dweller I would be using a lot of body wipes and taking a lot of sponge baths out of a basin. I experimented with washing longer hair without a shower and I did it. You can even do this in the hospital if you are not allowed to have a shower. Have two basins of warm water. Wet a washcloth in the water and wet down your hair with it until your hair is wet but not dripping. Apply a small amount of shampoo. Shampoo the hair. Take a towel and get as much shampoo out as you can, like you are drying your hair. Take a wet wash cloth and scrub the remaining soap out of the hair, several times, by washing out the cloth in clean water. When your hair squeaks it's clean. It may take three or four "rinses" with the washcloth. Dry your hair as you wish. If you are in the hospital or nursing home you can simply ask for a couple of basins of warm water, and do this yourself. But you should also have a hair dryer so you are not sleeping with wet hair.

I just do a complete bird bath. Wash hair/rinse...Then use soapy wet bath towel to soap complete body. I then just dry off; skipping the rinse... All clean!

I slept in my car and used a clean cotton towel with warm water and wiped down organic soap , then another one to dry off. It's felt great. I slept like a baby And woke up refreshed. My products were from Costco wearhouse and the vehicle is a 2023 Honda hrv lx. May I ask what type of refrigerator you use and do you eat ? Thank you and God bless you.

pro tip: buy a cheap small thermos with a release hole on the bottom, stick a tube through it, weld a corrosion-free metal plate around your exhaust, add some ventilation holes on the top, let the tube end above a filler opening, and the exhaust heat will get rid of the urine for you by vaporizing. now just buy a toilet seat, buy a small bathroom trash can, add a trash bag in there, attach it to the toilet seat, take a sh*t, close the bag, throw away.

Where is the grey water disposed at after it’s put in the grey water bottle?

Why don't you place the tube in the bottle and place it lower stage and start showering so that the water flows down and your legs are clean ! Otherwise your feet is still under the dirty water right ??? Another tips is, use a tea towel or a tissue towel to wipe out the foams before you shower, your water usage is more to give you the freshness !
