How I spent 4 years working as a maid in foreign land to build a house for 3 kids. It was very Emotional.🥺
Working as a maid is hard, working in Arab countries as a maid is even harder and dangerous sometimes.
Doreen Lukwago fell pregnant immediately after school. she was neglected by the father of her kids so she decided to run to Arab countries to look for greener pastures.
She went to different Arab countries until she settled in Dubai because she got a better chance there. Her children are her working force and inspiration.
while in Dubai Doreen decided to save up money and send it to her brother who was very kind and honest enough to buy for her the land and also managed the construction of the house. It's a three bedroom house located in on of the outskirts of Kampala Uganda.
As we watch this video Doreen relocated back to Uganda and she is giving us her story of how she is managing life after leaving the diaspora to her home country.
