Oh nooo your nose just healed! On a lighter note, literally every kid I grew up with has the underchin scar, including me! I also slipped on some grass in the rain and bonked my chin on the pavement next to it. Another friend got bitten by a dog, one was doing living room gymnastics, and another hit hers on a bed post that she was lip syncing into. 😂 welcome to the club!

My ex husband (6'7, 450lbs) was an Ironworker, but the biggest klutz ever, went to work in Belguim at a nuclear power plant. While we were there, he round roller blades in his size 16EEE, and he took me to a rooftop and he put the blades on and was the most graceful skated but because he was a klutz, I was freaking out. He got a kick out of skating close to thr edge because I was close to a heart attack. 😆 good times!

When I was about 5 I split my chin open getting out of the bathtub. My parents said I didn’t really cry. My mom also doesn’t recall there being a lot of blood, but she won’t swear to it. It just so happened that the surgeon on call for the ER was a plastic surgeon. Apparently the scar could have been worse. It’s definitely noticeable. This was the early ‘90s. I was a very accident prone child (could be argued that I am still accident prone)… I hit my forehead on a campground grill (I was the perfect height, it was dark, and I was running), that same night I was swinging on the swings and ripped one of my toenails clean off. That same week I ended up with the chicken pox. In elementary school I slammed my finger in a sliding door and had a table fall on my big toe and break it. I also broke my wrist running backwards in middle school gym class.

Didnt even notice the lipstick until i saw Kat's comment about it. Either way no worries girl. Those who matter wont mind and those who mind dont matter. At least thats how i feel about it.

Hope you feel better soon. I managed to take a ratchet strap hook that slipped out of the pocket on my trailer while I was strapping down a load of telephone poles. So not a small ratchet strap. I took it straight to the lower lip and got an impromptu lip piercing in the middle of a hay field. 0/10 do not recommend. I also did this while on workman's comp after I lost a fight to a raccoon in Canada because I tripped over my own feet and pile drove my shoulder into asphalt. I kept my teeth lost a lot of red stuff and got called a country hick at the VA. Couldn't even be mad about that last part because they weren't wrong.

So I'm going on 50, have had countless abrasions and contusions, a broken collarbone, broken knuckles and toes, and have had road rash several times everywhere from my face to my feet, however, I have never been in a cast or gotten any stitches. Did you ever go to RollerCade? I would go there every Friday or Saturday when I was a kid….that was also in the late 90’s. So many fun times I had there. I can’t believe it’s still open after all these years.

You and I are having similar years. I tripped at work and did a header into a metal doorframe a month ago. Got a 5-inch scar and 18 stitches. It's healing up well though and I hope the same for you! Here's hoping the year gets better for you.

Can definitley relate to not want to know something regarding an injury. Happened to me. I had an operation where they put on me a bypass for my bladder that goes on the top of my right buttock. I had stitches...of course. At a certain point I was told to not wear anymore the gauze I had and just let the stitches in the open. I did. Then, one night (because medical emergencies always had to happen at night or at inconvenient times) when I was about to lay down in bed I slipped and fell on my stitches. In that moment I felt intense pain but, more than anything, I felt a warm wet all over. It happened: my stitches opened, I was covered in blood and even a blood clot came out. For the longest time all I could think about/remembered was that moment. I couldn´t stand it. It wasn´t so much the pain as it didn´t hurt that much afterwards. Just in the moment. It was the sensation of blood and how shocking it was to see how much there was. Gave me goosebumps every time it came to mind.

Oh no! I hope it doesn't hurt/ hurt less,And It gets better!

In 2017 i was doing yard work barefoot when a very RUDE piece of rusty metal tried (and almost succeeded) to remove my pinkie toe. The fatty tissue was on the outside of my toe, even the ER nurses cringed. I got 8 stitches in my little toe. It was pretty much all a stitch. I asked the dr to try to save my toe and he did save it! It was hanging on by the vessels and a tiny piece of skin on one side. It was more off than on. Most of the experience minus the initial pain was almost outer body. Lol

Lol i actually have a scar on my chin almost in the same spot! Lol it was when my bro tripped me as i was skipping & busted a piece of my chin off so i had to get stitches lol 😅

I happen to actually have this exact scar from splitting my chin when I was a lil kid riding my trike around the house I was super young but I absolutely remember it like it was yesterday lol I think I had like 6 stitches lmfao I am 30 some odd years older hahahahah and I still can see the scar if I make a double chin hahahaha

My Phiddipus Regius (George) will not use hides any hides we have used he refuses to use. Should we be worried? He’s also not quite mature could that have something to do with it?

A couple days ago, my horse got her lead rope snagged on a feed bin, panicked and pulled back, launching it into the air, and hitting me in the forehead with it. Thankfully I just got away with a scrape and some Beluga-esque swelling.
