But the moment their numbers started dropping, everyone shit on it because r/place isn't where you should be making political statements, and because it was so ironic that ukraine supporters were protesting the invasion of Ukraine by invading other artpieces and trampling over them.

@@prosoccer728 sadly alot things might have happened, the stuff was 1990's stuff which might not been readily available to ship so might took while to organize. Plus if you watched life of streamer video, miz does have a schedule of people possibly coming over. Above all else was just bad luck that this reddit war start same day. sadge I hope they do something further down the line again and nothing to the scale of a reddit war interrupts.

I wouldn't say it achieves anything good or bad. It just is what it is which happens to be very interesting. It does make communities come together but it also definitely creates some hate. Extremely entertaining as a viewer watching it unfold. I can also see why they don't do this often. It encourages people to get into an endless fight for land and barley even sleep. Even as a viewer I spent an unhealthy amount of time looking at pixels.
