Thank you Marlene. I think we all should plant some pollinator flowers for our pollinator friends. We definitely need their help in the garden!🐝

Your flowers are so lovely! I want coneflowers so bad 🥹 I hope they can grow here in LA. The 5 seeds I started about a week ago hasn’t come up yet… I hope it is just taking its time

Thank you so much! They need cold stratification to help with the germination. I normally winter sow them or put them in the fridge for few weeks and then put them in seed starting mix and cover to give them darkness. Then after they germinate, take off the cover. Depends on the seeds, it may take the following year to get flowers. I like having a plan B, so I am not disappointed especially when coming to seeds. You can pick up the roots and plant them or grab some plants from the store. I know they can be costly instead of the seeds. The roots are cheaper though and you get more plants. The garden centers have roots available. I am posting Walmart video tomorrow and you will see them in there. They are the cheapest I’ve seen. I think 8 “roots” for $11.97. You are in a warmer zone so they will take off for you. 🌺
