I remember watching dylan bulk years ago eating McDonald’s and drinking milkshakes and shit, and look at him now. not blasting shit trying to compete and taking his health as his main priority, fucking inspiring truly.
Stay focused Dylan! Been watching you for a bit. Glad to see you working on your future and no longer takin gear. And being open about it! Stay focused brother. :))))
Okay so, something must had happened while you were on a cycle during prep, maybe like a health concern that really changed your perspective in life, and made you realize that longevity is more important than looking good for the stage. Good for you anyways, you chose the right path.
I'm thinking so as well shit just abruptly changed.. Dylan's just going with it accepting all the comments like "dude you're so inspirational you've grown so much and changed"... but a scare or something happened for sure.. You don't just go kill it and get your pro card then all the sudden decide you want to do a complete 180 when your whole life's goal and passion was to compete or get big as possible...
It’s all these bodybuilders dying especially Rhoden who was thought to be one of the healthiest ones if anything,i think it woke some guys up the final straw
I enjoyed this video sooo much. I love how you use more of a higher fat approach. Carbs and fats are so interchangeable and high carbs make me so hangry during a cut its great that you discuss how its not for everyone. This was awesome, thanks for the content! Cheers from Costa Rica ♥
Honestly man to me you look way better right now than when you were the mass monster stepping on stage. Obviously less mass but this is more aesthetic to me.
Really liked this video and the last video. Enjoyed hearing why you stopped blasting steroids and your overall health goals. I know you said you are taking a grass fed grass finished beef liver. Have you listened to Paul Saladino at all and if so what are you thoughts around that? If not I would give some of his podcasts a listen as it is super interesting in figuring out what we as humans should be eating from an evolutionary standpoint.
Since your body only absorbs a certain amount of protein etc at once, whats the benefit of cramming 3 meals into 1 at one time? If you have the same window of eating with the same amount of food isnt it best to spread it out? I may have missed it in the video it was sort of just on in the background.
No one really deadlifts more than twice a week, for optimal strength gains I would do one day with your normal deadlift variation and one day with a variation that targets your weaknesses (deficit deadlifts, block pulls), that got my deadlift from like 385lbs to 500lbs in 10 months
@@nboyd4762 you don’t wanna deload more than once every 4-5 weeks, just do 5x5 deadlift once a week and 4x8 deficit deadlifts once a week on a different day. Add weight or reps each week and deload after 5 weeks. That’s enough programming to get you to a 405-425 deadlift
Throwback to throwback to the island days I’ve been training for eight years and I found you and Dave’s RU-vid channel and my first year of lifting in and I’ve never looked back. Noticed the song you used in the gym edit 💪
Pasture raised organic eggs are just overpriced bs from corn and soy supplemented chickens. Better than conventional obviously but still really estrogenic and far from healthy. I would recommend finding a local farm that has corn/soy free pastured chickens especially if you are gonna eat multiple eggs almost daily.
