Yesterday you talked about not tolerating bad behaviour and sending students to the principal's office and today you talk about discussion with them.! Very contradictory...

Hi, actually, it's not contradictory. Sending students to the principal's office and having 1:1 conferences with students are tools (i.e. strategies, interventions) that can be used to manage student behaviors. In my videos, I try to offer a variety of tools for teachers to use because often students and behaviors are not one size or strategy fits all.
