It's so wonderful to watch Colleen describe how well she knows her babies, when looking back at the gender reveal video, she expressed that she can't wait to learn as much as she can about her arriving twins. And here she is, telling us that she knows their individual sounds, cries, scents, skin textures, physical differences between each other, etc. It's just so amazing to know that she's 'here in that moment that she couldn't wait to get to.' So beautiful!!! I love you guys so much!!!

Hey Colleen!!! I am not a mama, but my mom is a lactation consultant, and I asked her for help about how to help you make the transition from bottle to breastfeeding, and she stayed you should probably get a lactation consultant to help you, but she told me a trick to give to you! She stayed you should try instead of feeding the baby's directly from the bottle, you have to use a feeding tube that goes from the bottle to your breast hahaha I don't know how to explain it very well, but you stick the feeding tube that goes from the bottle and the tip of the tube should be next to your nipple, and that way the baby's have it easy to eat cause it's easyer from the tube than from the boob directly, but they go getting use to breastfeeding, and little by little they will like the breast better cause they see its not that difficult and they will give it a chance!! I hope you can understand it, if you need her instagram to ask any cuestions or anything we will be honored to help!! You are amazing!! ❤️❤️ (sorry if my English is not perfect) ✨❤️❤️

Not sure if you know, but you mentioned your supply getting lower with your period coming back. 500-1000mg of calcium and magnesium every day from ovulation through to your period can minimize any supply drops! I just recently started taking it and it’s made a HUGE difference

It amazes me how colleen and eric are able to take care of the twins 24/7 and still play and have a fun time with finn!

How colleen feels about christmas being over is how I feel about it too…Christmas is the happiest time of the year for me. I love the music and all the lights, the food, the time with family I don’t get to see a lot. I love so much about it.

Colleen it does get better. I remember when my younger twin sisters were born how tired my parents were. Now, they don’t even remember that time. Literally, they were so tired they don’t remember most of the first year. But having twins in the family is so special and you will get through it and you have these videos to help you remember :)

8:08 it was cool hearing you talk about knowing the babies’ different cries. my mom has a story from a few days after i was born, i guess my body temperature was kind of low, so a nurse took me back to get me warmed up. my parents kept asking if i was warm enough to come back yet, and the nurses kept saying no, that i was still a little bit cold. after the second or third time they asked, my mom heard a baby cry. she told my dad, “that’s gracie.” he was like “there’s a hundred other babies in this hospital, that could be any baby.” she was like, no, that’s my baby! she grabbed her iv pole and walked back to where they had me, saw that at this point i had been fine for a while and the nurse was just holding and playing with me for fun, walked up to her, said, “give me my baby!” and snatched me back out of her hands. moms know their babies!

Idk if you’ll see this, but I just wanted to say that I breastfed for 2 days (in the hospital) and then pumped for 3 weeks with formula at nights, and then gave up and just did formula - and OMG it was a LIFESAVER! I felt so much more empowered with formula because I could really measure everything out and knew exactly how much my baby was getting. Breastfeeding was a nightmare for my Type-A personality wondering if she was getting enough, and pumping was a nightmare because it was time consuming and frustrating when lower supply was happening. I honestly wish I’d have gone full formula sooner and given myself the grace to just be the mom I wanted to be, which was present with my baby and not worrying about how to feed - and formula gave me that! ❤️

I know it's hard to judge how someone is really doing in life from a youtube video but I noticed your intro (and the whole vlog) was filled with laughter and smiles and we didn't see nearly as much of that when you were pregnant. Hi Colleen. I just watched your mom shaming video. I have formula fed both my babies. My first did not latch and I was so anxious about her weight i literally did not leave the house until switched. Same thing happened with baby number 2. My sister who is a doula told me the first time that she really saw me come into motherhood and finally enjoy it when I switched to formula. Both girls are happy healthy and the best part of my life and have been formula fed since they were 2 months! Do what’s best for you and your babies! FED is best!

5:13 actually saved my day. there was a big storm where i live a day after this video went out and everybody was doing their own thing and i was taking care of my four yo cousin. the thundering was so loud you could barely hear yourself speak but kept telling him stories until he fell asleep on me. i live him.

Someone I know was breastfeeding and could only handle it for about two weeks and it was a struggle the fact you have done it at all is amazing don’t be hard on yourself love you lots

My younger brothers are identical twins. It’s so funny to me when people ask my mom “when” she could tell them apart 😂 they’re 21 now and people always ask me how to tell them apart, and it’s like I can’t explain it, they just don’t like alike to me 🤷🏼‍♀️
