Here is how I store my soft plastics in my boat!
Whether you use boxes, bags, bins or another way, as long as you're organized and have a system your fishing will be much more efficient.
Background: I used to store soft plastics strictly in boxes because I didn't have a lot of tackle. Then I began to use gallon sized zip lock bags to keep soft plastics from going bad. Now there are Bass Mafia Money Bags which are great ways to store bulk soft plastics. I've merged the three ways and have an organized system.
My go-to soft plastics that I use most frequently are in boxes for easy access. It helps me see how many I have left and what I need more of. I use bags to organize by bait category. I'll keep all of my stick baits in their original packages within a bigger bag. This helps me when it comes to packing for a trip to a given lake a certain time of year. I may leave my big worms at home or my drop shot baits in the truck if they aren't needed.
