i never thought id come across someone with the same problem - a journey time of 90 minutes to and from school, i find it so difficult to juggle all my subjects while trying to juggle my rest time and revision time, but now you’ve really helped me. thank you :)
In my country, in high school, we normally have 20 subjects. In my school I have 19. It's really very difficult to keep everything organized, mainly because I have 19 different teachers who assign a lot of homework and work presentations at all times.
Thank you so much for this video👍👍 literally had my midterms last week and kinda failed. This is definitely the video I need right now. Thank youuuuuuu soooo muchiiiiii !
i cant even do 8 subjects and the ride from home to school is literally 1 hour long which invloves change of vehicles and then we have tests going on alongside all of the regular studies + we get SO MUCH homework, making unnecessary notes is considered mandatory and checked daily but i am so envious of some other classmates who have extra classes and still have work done and revised.
Steven Gates dropping fire as always! Why is it when Steven Gates comes out the videos just increase in quality (tips and all). I do 10 subjects but I still remember doing like 5 in Primary (miss those days). Also why tf was Topic called Topic ??? Congratulations on 100k and goodluck on your Instagram! I dont even use Instagram and I followed you to help with the algorithm. (like seriously I dont even have it on phone and I opened the browser lol) Watched one short and gotta say the editor be doing a fire job. Keep it up! ❤
I have a lot of subjects too, but the ones we have to study for and have tests/exams are about 11. My travel to school is also long, 50-70minutes one-way, and i also have some time consuming hobbies (eg: competitive speedcubing) So because i dont necessary need or want to be straight A, but also not barely passing - like in the area of C to A optimally - i decided to tackle tackle the simpler subjects' exams first so i get a really good start in subjects like geography or history, and then i mainly focus on the 3-5 hardest / most important subjects while i can worry less about the others. This isnt optimal if you need or want a straight A´s report card, but if you want good results with reasonable stress it works. Especially if you combine this with your awesome studying tips you can get a lot of free time out of it. For example, for my chemistry test i created and studied flashcards only on the train from/to school - which is time i would usually just spend chatting with friends, listening to music or doing nothing - and i got a pretty good B.
I have 9 subjects to study. If I fail these I won't be able to get a job in the future. Thank you so much for doing this video, it's so motivating tysm❤. I have exams next weekk😢 and haven't started..... Tmi but there's only one reason why I don't study and it's because I'm not comfortable where I am. I of only I was if be unstoppable
I finished my last year in middle school and the results appeared today and I got 97.5. I think this is a very satisfactory result and now I will start the high school trip.
Thanks for the video spark, it’s always relatable. But also, I really want to get access to your membership program to learn how to study better, however I go to a private school with this guy who specialises in studying. He says general information, like “oh do pormodo” but I don’t think it helps that much but my parents think he is really good. I kinda want to purchase the membership but I am almost certain my dad will say no. I don’t really to how to approach how to get this membership, could you give advice? sorry this is dreadfully long
this is a really important video for me❤. Btw, can you make a video about school social life and how to improve and balance it with academics, fitness, and other priorities.
focus on your weaker subjects and try doing quizzes on seneca and most importantly past papers, at least look at the past paper questions and see what would come up, and if your school is doing past papers for end of yrs then u could find the past paper you'll end up doing
i have only 6 now ! yayyy! and english is like if i study 1 day before exam then also i will have 102/100 and pe is like no wayyy! to study but yes japanese i cant
I have never been so grateful for Indian education system before. Reason: there are only 4 subjects + English in higher secondary. (And you can study more as well if you want)

Can't wait to watch this video! I'm doing two degrees at the same time...I was an average student at school who didn't do self-studying at all 🥲 I'm finding it quite difficult to manage my time but Steven you've been a great help!
From 5 subjects to 13? Hah!! Try 4 subjects to 20! (yea, das what i have to do), But still, no matter how many subjects, the transition form primary school to secondary can be difficult for many.
HAH! 13, EXCUSE ME WHAT DID THE TURKISH STUDENTS DO? I took 19 different exams in 10 days (WE DO THIS 4 TIMES IN A YEAR BTW) ?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CARRY 19 DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AT HIGH FRICKIN SCHOOL!
well, i got over it so why can't you? you have to find your way. since class one to 12, i was always the top of my class and the top of my school (except the year i changed schools) and it is easy, actually. yes, yks whomps the brain of us, indeed, but not other classes. have some hope. 👾
