Thanks so much for this video. Im not a new Christian, but I have never taken notes in my Bible before. Im now of the mindset that I need notes in order to know what God is trying to say to me. I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children. It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves. God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”. I realized I knew no Father, just so I could come to know THE FATHER, when the time was right 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty” But that is not as important as the element you use to relieve yourself. Many followers of Christ are still indulging in our vices and addictions to relieve our “Uncertainties” Lean on God in your darkest moments, lean on the word that says you were created with meaning and purpose, lean on the Grace of God…let it steady your mind, your heart and your body. I don’t know who I’m writing to, who’s reading this, but God is ready, and waiting for you to seek him, through Jesus Christ, whom he sent to die the death meant for you and I. Not just on Sunday, not just when you “need” him, not just when you’re desperate…but every day, hour, minute and second of your life. I stumbled across your Bible study videos after watching a couple of the art journaling ones. I have a creative journaling bible similar to yours which I had hardly used as it seemed so special and beautiful. I thought I needed to do very artistic journaling in it. But watching your video inspired me to use it in a different way- just going through a book, marking the text and making notes. I am finding I really enjoy this approach, when previously I had found bible study quite a chore and hard going. I have been using metallic gel pens plus the occasional post it note and I love how colourful the pages are becoming. I am also trying the commentary you suggested which is really helpful. Thanks so much!
I have a solution for the no longer available Watercolor vellum. I used regular vellum and scribbled alcohol markers (copic,sharpie etc) on glass or plastic packaging, anything non porous really, add a little bit of rubbing alcohol and pick up with felt or a cotton ball and swipe on the vellum. You could also use alcohol ink if you have it. Worked great!
Hi sweetie, I just wanted to thank you for this beautiful video..I am completely a beginner at bible study and all..I've been confused on how one goes about taking notes, what words are important, what to reference and how not to use the words to misinterpret 😢 its all a bit overwhelming, I just want to learn, grow and be as close to jesus as I can..any helpful advise would be greatly appreciated ❤ thank you!

to keep bleed thru to minimum or non existent i was shown 60 gsm paper for a bible instead of the regular bible india paper many have around AND Bic intensity fineliners wonderful tose and broad range of colors on Amazon... and inexpensive as compared to pigma microns or sakura's .... i also use frixion retractibles **but beware that heat like car dashboard storage may and often will cause frixion ink to fade or disappear intirely**
I found those pens to skip really badly 😭 have you used more them one of them? I'm hoping I just purchased a bad pack. I love using the Mildhigh lighers too 😻✍📖💕
Really?? That's so interesting! I don't have any problems with skipping in my bible and creative journal, but I do struggle a little bit with them on the vellum, so it may just depend on the material. But I really like them overall, mostly because they are quick drying, which I need as a lefty! ;)
