I can't thank you enough for this video. I am a straight blonde hair, blue eyed white woman. I have a 2 year old granddaughter that is biracial and she has very tight short kinky hair. I've been searching and searching online for good information on how to care for and style her hair. I want to be able to teach her as much as I can about her hair so she will know how to care for and style it herself some day. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. PS. That’s SO awesome that you’re actually taking the time to learn how to properly take care of her hair! So many white people don’t take the time to learn how to properly take care of these sweet babies hair and it drives me nuts, they have them out with their hair looking a mess :( just because they don’t take the time out to learn about how to properly take care of it :(

Anne is so amazing! Gorgeous work. I was looking for tips on my baby's wispy, thin straight hair and while her texture is super different so I wouldn't copy this exactly, there is so much universal wisdom here. We can pass on what we learned from our youths bonding during styling time, AND we can improve upon it. Yes! Thank you for sharing so much more than just (VERY VERY) cute style tips!

Thank you so much!! My daughter is mixed so her hair is a blend of my husband's super coily wooly hair and my soft waves and it's been difficult to find ways to keep it tangle free. I can't wait to try these products for her. She's 2 and her hair is growing like crazy and it's thick so I'm trying to find ways to style it without causing tension and breakage❤

Yeess I love this. I tried explaining to my mom why I do my daughter's hair everyday but she enjoys it. She grabs my brush and brings it to me when I don't do her hair on the weekends. She'll also climb onto my lap and just sit while tapping her head she's a year old as of 4 days ago and she loves it. The highchair with toys is so smart though I'll have to try that

I realize this video is 4 years old but I'm googling how to do a one year old's hair. Listen, I'm trying to figure out how our daycare did 2 little pigtails - I'm lucky if I can get ONE hair tie in! Thank for sharing this! I just recently started styling my daughters hair. My biggest issue is her scalp is extremely sensitive as mine is. I’m definitely going to try that hair product you used.

My daughter is 18m and I really need to be more mindful of doing her hair . I will try these products. Now we are using cantu kids and I will check out the headband. I always worry they will rub her hair out. Also will wash every other day as mentioned here. I will go weekly and I told myself no, she needs at least every 3 days . Thanks for the reminder
