I suggest using beard oil on the dry beard, because water is heavier then oil, so its harder for the hair to absorb the oil, because oil stays on the water. On the other hand, when you apply oil on the dry beard, hair will absorb the oil much easier and get all the good stuff from beard oil
Bendzio oizdneB You might right buddy. I got into the habit of doing it this way because I think it will soften the hair and by blow drying it won't damage or dry it too much but I always had more oil to the dry beard a few times thought the day. Thanks for the support buddy.
Thanks! Clear and simple. I think it will help me remember to comb my beard down after showering and before applying oil (sometimes I forget and apply to uncombed beard). Why do you not comb your beard after applying balm?
You don't want to comb it after you apply the oil cause then you're just combing it out of your beard. You gotta work it all in and wait a little bit before combing again.
Hey Beardbrand! Please have Carlos do a video (as he mentioned doing here around :43) where he talks about the length of his beard, especially on the sides. He mentions this briefly in a few other videos and says Harry taught him the trick of longer sides to cover some patchiness. I have this problem too and I am sure others do too. The reason his beard seems to look the same from beginning to end is because he washed it and gave the impression that the beard was’’tamed’’ but if he had let it dry naturally with no products, blow-dry, etc, his beard would be all over the place. Trust because, my beard is very similar to his, (I know I`m very lucky) and he`s absolutely on point on this video. All the best :)
Great video. I recently trimmed my handle bar mustache so I could start covering my problem areas with hair growth. The handle bar mustache helped out the illusion of the full high beard. So like you said it was a live and learn 🤷🏽♂️👍🏽
That shirt is lethal! Would love to know where it’s from. My issue with my beard is that it stays really frizzy and wiry after a shower even after applying beard oil. It looks much better after a night of sleep. Would styling balm help keep it down? Or what do I need to change to keep my beard down after a shower. I’m considering switching my shower to nights so that it’s flat for work.
What you can do to help your beard grow would be to eat a healthy diet, increase testosterone with exercise, and stimulate the hair follicles. We also try to upload different types of beards for our barbershop series.

i would like to grow a long beard. I have a beard which is not symmetrical and thick. one hair is long and another one is short.if i want to grow a symmetrical long beard should i shave my beard completely and grow a new beard. waiting for your reply.

What I want to know is: Should I wash my beard with my beardwash everyday? Normally we would say not to wash it every day, but since you work out on a daily basis, that might be what you need to do. What you can do to combat the softness is pat it dry after you wash it, and use utility balm.

Ahoy Beardos! Gonna need some advice and help with my beard. I have a beard that reaches my collarbone but it's actually longer. Thing is, the ends of the beard hairs curl up like crazy. (Friend even mentioned the similarities to fishing hooks haha) I've tried styling it while blow drying and applying oil or balm afterwards and that helps... For 10 minutes or so. Any tips on how I could get it to sit straight? It would give me like 2cm extra length which would be cool :) Cheers mates!
That's a great question! The answer is time. You'll want to comb through it every day and in the direction you want it to go. You can also comb it multiple times a day. This will help straighten the curls, and keep the hair growing in that direction even if you don't style it.
