Some good points in here. Just a note on the comb, a stiff comb like that will still rip out your hair. It's not about how wide the teeth are apart, it's about how flexible they are. So using something with soft plastic bristles like a Wet (the brand) brush will not rip the hair. Start at the bottom and work up to the top as you correctly said. Cheers
