How I Take Care of 50+ Exotic Animals

Okey boomer sure working for free without ever having the chance to buy a house and support a family for the greater good is motivating for some but not the majority

We’ve done it on a few of the enclosures and LOVE it. We’ve been debating weather or not we want to do it with our macaw aviary- their beaks would slowly peel off the paint as they climb it so it would be a lot of upkeep and we would have to make sure it’s something that would be safe for the birds. Haha unfortunately everytime try to hand feed Miko and Rika a treat- they either take it and drop it out of spite or go for my finger instead😂😭 Luckily- Fuego the Scarlet Macaw likes me tho! I do wish we could house the cockatoos and cockatiels together as well! Potentially down the road, with slow introductions and another massive aviary we would be able to. As of right now, the birds haven’t been acclimated to being housed either other birds so introducing them prematurely could result in some serious fights and injury. Nope! We’re a Goat Dairy and an Animal Sanctuary. So the goats are the only animals we breed. We do not breed sny of our exotic animals because they come from various rescue situations, and it’s incredibly difficult to find a home well suited and prepared for the commitment of an exotic pet.
