I have 4 or 5 of the little ones and it's so nice bc you can have multiple scents. You can throw one in your purse or even pocket and if you are going to be outside when it's hot you can have one to spritz on so you don't smell sweaty.
Yes. Atomizers are GREAT! Sephora USED to sell them dirt cheap & then would fill your favorite fragrance up in them! Also, I save all my freebie samples to take on vacay.❤
Putting your perfume into these atomizers can also reduce your risk of leaks because of the decreased air volume inside of them. On top of that, if one of them were to leak, it would be significantly less than a full bottle. I'm somebody who's only recently just started getting into fragrance, so I only have a few, but micro atomizers are a phenomenal tool
@@loveleenkaur7385 if this is the same product i think he’s talking about i don’t think you have to open them! you just take the lid off, & take the little nozzle off the top & there’s a little slot on the bottom of the containers & you literally just set it in the hole which fits the stick perfectly & spray it into the tube! hope that makes sense 😭
In case i go on a trip, i would bring just one perfume. So when I smell it later on, it would remind me of that particular trip. Not sure if i'm making sense, but perfumes also bring back a lot of memories. 😊💞
Yes! Marc Jacobs Lola reminds of my hols I Lanzarote -art, volcano landscapes, sun, sea and sand and so many laughs with my sis! It’s such a happy smell for me!
I accidentally did this to myself and my sisters one summer when I was maybe 15, with a teen brand body scent. We were visiting relatives in a different country.
Love building scent memories. I took L’Instant de Guerlain into the magical Wellington NZ botanical park. Both were exquisite and I will never forget that day💜
I love those little atomizers!! I got some several months ago and I’m so happy I did! I love being able to have a pocket sized bottle of perfume with me, wherever I go. 💜 What’s also nice about the little atomizers is that they’re pretty easy to fill, and they’re usually quite affordable- less expensive than buying the actual travel-size fragrance tubes/bottles.
It’s also a fun way of mixing your fragrance too. Like combining two and then shaking it up before spraying. I have a found some great combos from doing this 😊
I've been doing that for years too, and I have one atomizer that I keep in my purse all the time in case I forgot to wear perfume before going out which is Narciso Rodriguez -Rouge because I feel like it works at all times
I don’t know if anyone else saw this BUT WHERE in the world did you buy that small yet ever so adorable McDonalds cosmetics type of bag??! I might be a 43 year old woman BUT I’m a 43 year old woman that loves cosmetics & candles & I ESPECIALLY LOVE perfume & body sprays!!!! I highly doubt James will see my comment among all the other people commenting BUT I HAD TO at least try to ask where he bought it. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 so if I can only buy it on a UK 🇬🇧 beauty website, I’ll be more than willing to pay whatever the pricey shipping cost is going to be!!!!!!!! 🥰 Sorry for the long response but if you can help me with this info James, I would truly & wholeheartedly appreciate it. Take care……..Nancy! 🙂
Nice timing...because I am also into perfume nowadays...it's not just skin care that's important...it's also important that you smell good I ALSO BRING 4 FRANRANCES WITH ME...FOR DAYTIME/ CASUAL...FRESH fragrance and two evening fragances lol!
i don't tend to wear much fragrance, but I do something similar with my hair products. i wear my hair curly and typically travel with 2-3 different kinds stylers to achieve different types of curl.
I just asked for an exorbitant amount of samples when I buy a new bottle of fragrance, and I take the little spray bottles of Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb or Ms. Dior Cherie with me... well now I've got another weapon in my travel repertoire
PLS do some fragrance content!! And yes idk why people don't know it's possible to actually decant your fragrances into travel-friendly atomisers. Like... guys. LOL.
I don't because I have had too many bad experience with leaky atomizers of multiple different brands over the decades. Either they genuinely leak, or they evaporate disconcertingly fast. Which is why I now either use fragrance oils, solid perfume, or original mini sized perfume bottle, when I travel. I don't usually bring more than like 3 scents anyway.
I do this . I have taken them to ulta and sephora for fragrence samples . Alot of the fragrances now have a stopper so you cant anymore because ppl would take multiple and get the whole bottles
I prefer the small plastic ones you can get at fragrance counters. You can get like 60 5ML’s for like 10 dollars. Super lightweight, easy to refill unlike those ones that you have to get literally every single drop out of (or else they will leak like crazy when you refill them)
I have a small purse so I do this instead of carrying a huge bottle lol. I change fragrance probably every 2 to 3 years. I found a half-empty bottle of a 7-year-old fragrance and it still smelled good lol
Ohh!! I love doing this ❤ even have different colour atomisers for the different fragrances (although, after seeing yours may have to bust out the label maker!). My bugbear is refitting the spray head to the original perfume bottle - can't use my favourite perfume conventionally anymore as the little gold bit won't stay put 😢. If anyone has any tips I'd be super grateful!
I am surprised how many people are NOT doing it. And that always makes me wonder if they are not afraid of their perfume getting broken or spilled because those bottles are expensive and heavy
Hahah when youre into fragrance it's def normal. I usually bring bottles of the ones im rly feeling for the destination, travel sizes ... and some samples jst in case 😂😂😂🙈
There are a lot on Amazon but the less expensive ones may leak or the fragrance evaporates. I tried a few and the best (but pricey) one is Travalo. Worth it! Hope this helps.
i’ve been doing this since i was 12 till now but im not that much into fragrance to take 20 into a trip or do big bottles like that cuz its not a shower but yeah small glass bottles and 3-5 fragrance to take on a trip amazing 👍
"I don't wanna end up just smelling like skin, which seems like an obvious thing to do" -is how it sounded 😆 I can't smell like skin, it's too obvious! Hahaha
great in theory but often these atomizers tend to break the scent because of the materials of the container or through the decanting process. if anyone has a holy grail solution...
I've bought 2 of those and they both leaked and the perfume evaporated within a couple of weeks. Waste of good perfume! So I only fill _one_with as many pumps as I will need for at most 5 days and use for traveling, or else it's money down the drain.
I would love to be able to decant my favorite Annick Goutal into a travel size, but the top is stuck on. I don't think most perfumes can be opened.....
But how do proper frag hags store and keep their decants?? Marker binder/pencil cases with the little elastic belts? Pastel storage drawers? Beaker holders? I know you don't just have a drawer or dresser top of these glass dominos 😭
