"Military Grade" timekeeping. Or as one Native American put it, "Only the government would cut a foot off the bottom of the blanket and sew it on the top and say that you had more blanket."
Random daylight savings time zones and date line was invented by Australia so that it has 1st new year every year while rest of the world falls behind and watches those smugs having fireworks above the opera and laughing at us from the future
I can't remember who it was, or if this story is apocryphal, but a famous Native American chief was asked what he thought of Daylight Savings. He responded, "Only white man would cut the bottom off a blanket and sew it to the top and think that the blanket is longer."
@@BenjaminWalburn I'm not sure what your argument is, because I think we agree. It doesn't make a day longer, but we tend to treat it as if it does. The chief thought it was a bit silly.
As a person from a country that DOES NOT practice this craziness: I also find this EXCEPTIONALLY annoying. Im an online teacher. It really messes with my students ability to attend classes on time and it isn't even their fault
Sooooo happy we don’t have daylight savings in my state is australia. Every other state has it im pretty sure. Tried it in Western Australia and it wasn’t getting dark till like 9:30pm… horrible.
We were supposed to be rid of daylight savings time by 2021, but after EU voted 'whatever', we're stuck on winter time vs. summer time debate. Nothing had been done. 🙄 😒
@@LukasArnold1 well done, my man, well done. And I'm totally on board with the message that Daylight Savings is an absolute waste of everything involved.
