@@onlyplants Not meaning to lecture, Sean, but I really feel for you because I'm stressed and anxious quite a bit of the time. Here's one thing that helped me: I found a multi-vitamin tablet that also has minerals and if I take it every day, it reduces my stress and anxiety. One thing that might also be helpful is this: Try to notice if there's something you eat or drink that calms your mind. I take iron because my annual blood test always shows a low hemoglobin level. The iron fixes that and I feel more energy. If I don't take iron for awhile, I feel less energetic and stressed. Also, one of my best friends bought an herb book years ago. She put herbs in salad and casserole, choosing the ones that were supposed to help with certain health issues. It took six weeks before she noticed any difference in how she felt. That was twenty years ago and using herbs is still an integral part of her lifestyle. She looks amazing, has been through an incredibly difficult year during the pandemic, and I'm convinced all those herbs made her an incredibly strong person. There is wisdom in the old rhyme: "sage, rosemary, parsley, and thyme." Scientists published a study that if you include each of the these herbs in your food every week - one a day or however you want - it's beneficial for your body, mind, and builds your immune system, which helps you combat stress. You're ambitious with big dreams, Sean, and you work hard to meet your goals. I'm the say way. My life has been an adventure and I'm very passionate about my personal projects. Keep in mind that it doesn't matter if you fall down now and then. I've landed flat on my butt more than once. Zig Zigar wrote some words that I keep in my heart: "The difference between a happy successful person and a failure is this: The failure just laid there and gave up. The success was willing to fail one more time, get up, fall down again, and get up. The successful person realizes that on days you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl. The important thing is that you keep moving forward." Before I moved to Finland, I built a ranch in Michigan and winters were very cold, ice and snow, and working outside early in the morning before I went to my professional job was just plain horrible. That saying by Zig kept me going. Maybe it will inspire you. That said, Sean, you're a wonderful, inspiring person. You're also generous. The incredible videos you produce expand my plant education and I feel enriched. A lot of your subscribers feel likewise. You're an important person, Sean, and you have made a difference in my live and the lives of your other subscribers. Thank you and have a good week!!!

Coco fibre is more sustainable, more aesthetic, and the roots can really root into them. I can also change positions of the pots quite easily 😀

Thank you. 🙏🏽 see if you have a heated room thats not big, group the plants together there for humidity and provide artificial light. I used to live in Florida too the winters are nice there actually.

@@onlyplants Didn't know that you used to live here. I try and cover everything up when it freezes. The plants hate it when I bring them inside. My Cissus Discolor dropped all her leaves and hated me for 6 months, but she finally came back. I really can't stand the cold weather. It gives me anxiety and panic attacks. North Central Florida has some devastating 🥶 🥶 🥶

This room was actually a backyard with exterior paint and a ground that leads directly into soil. Ill have a watering episode up soon as I get the hang of it 😀

Hello, no rain water comes in. I water then with a hose, in some areas I spray liberally but on the pots I check one by one before watering them. Just exterior paint behind the coco coir. Our exterior paint is meant to withstand heavy daily rain and constant humidity in a tropical climate. Also theres excellent airflow from a fan and AC. Lastly I spray fungicide now and then on the plants. These can eliminate mold too

Hello, the general care for anthurium is: Bright but not direct light Chunky airy soil watered lightly but not heavily They love to dry out but have a bit of humid air around the roots. They hate to be in wet soil especially compacted ones. Fungicide spray often And the magnificum may be prone to spidermites so check often

Its also his positive outlook and presentation. I adore and respect him for that.
