When I don't plan things, they normally don't work.
When I have to keep everything in my mind, I forget.
When I am not fully concentrated on my work, I get bad results.
That is why I have developed a simple method to plan my week effectively, which takes me only 30 min, and gets me to actually achieve my goals.
Here is how I do:
Mindset: It's not about doing many things and filling our time with seemingly important tasks, it's about getting the real work done, so that we actually achieve our goals!
1) Write down the main roles you have in your life (ex. student, friend, superior man, leader, businessman...)
2) For each role, write down the 1-2 main things that have to be done that week, in order to get closer to that roles goals.
3) Write down all the days of the week and for each day I plan the 2 main activities for that day. Think about when it would be the best day for each activity.
4) Bonus: I also add a "to improve" and "weekly adventure" section, so that every week I have a place to write down the things I need to improve and to add some spice to my life.
I recommend you to do it on Sunday.
