Hi Allen! You know, I watch a handful of channels that do TTM and I can’t remember one of them ever sending out a ball to get autographed. I think if I were to do TTMs sending out balls would be very appealing! Thanks for the tips!
This was super helpful! I mentioned before that I’m thinking of trying out TTM, and I also happen to have a spare blank Selig ball… maybe I could put that to good use! Thanks, Allen!
There are plenty of great players from the Selig era that sign on a regular basis. I still like in person signings the best though. Especially for baseballs
Hey Allen! Great information. Went baseballs TTM very similarly. Getting a ball back TTM is just more fun than a card (although a card is still a great mailday). I always money as well for a ball. FYI I have Denny McClain with a ton of inscriptions on a Tigers ball like your Braves ball and the auto has held well over 10 years.
Thanks for the info on the Denny McClain. I think I might try the other Braves ball but use a different pen. It's worth a shot, I guess. Getting back a baseball is definitely more exciting than a card. It also forces you to display it rather than being put away in a card box
Great stuff Allen! I have never sent a ball TTM. Love that Jim Rice! Cool Bream too, like if you’re a Braves fan😁, no but sweet inscription too! Cool process sir!
Great information. You certainly need to do more of these. I don't even know what shipstation is. Have you looked at the autos after say...5 years to see if they are bleeding or if there are any other issues showing up?
The only bleeding issues I've had is on one ball that was signed with a Sharpie. I've never had issues with gel pens bleeding. The biggest issue of fading typically involves UV light. Dark rooms and LED lights are definitely the way to go. If you want to make sure it lasts forever no matter what, paint pens really work best. They can be streaky though
