You should make a video of your journey on your channel...you don’t need to put your face on the internet if you don’t want that, but you can just put text on a plain background, those videos inspire so many people...just a thought.
@@jacobthompson6265 how did you find the support ? I find more closed doors than open ones. What should I change about myself or approach ? What was your approach? Do you have a page or blog ? Thankyou . Very inspiring and personally relatable
Very well said. It “seems” so easy to reflect on the steps to a productive and content life, but in fact it can be a very deliberate process. Thank you for sharing Erin.
Agreed. The news these days can be so overwhelming. I remember getting really anxious and upset after watching the news on bombings and war. I stopped watching the news and life got easier. I removed the toxic and negative people from my life as well. If they don't make you want to hustle or don't support you, clearly you don't need them. 2017 was a year of stepping out of my comfort zone. 2018 will be a year where I get my shit together 💪 Thanks for sharing about your struggles ❤️
I got to stumble on your video. I am currently in a down situation in my life. Your video gave me something to look forward to and on what to do to get back on track.
You are so right about watching the news! I feel like our younger generations aren't watching the news as much either. It's information overload, and not in a positive way! I feel like it's obviously important to be informed, but we don't have to be surrounded by it constantly.
I have been going through the same thing. I truly agree with getting rid of the virtual clutter and not spending as much time on social media..mostly facebook. thanks for sharing! Did a huge declutter in January as well; donated a BUNCH of stuff. This month focusing on getting back to working out and incorporating mindfulness meditation.
I disagree, respectively. I think we take WAY to much time off .. maybe not from going through the motions of the daily basics... But Everytime we escape into our phone or in our head, were taking time off. I subscribe to the "work harder" philosophy. Compared to where we were as humans many many many years ago, we have a LOT of time off and don't have to work as hard (physically) and I feel that's the problem I'm society.
I didn’t think I would get anything from this video, but you hit home on every point. Thank you for this video Erin, I really needed this, especially today. Now I am feeling motivated to get a coffee and hustle all day ☺️ xx
thank you for sharing. I haven't watched the news in forever as it makes me extremely anxious about things I cannot control. lately I've been unfollowing accounts and channels, if only I could just as easily "unfollow" people in real life!
can i have some advice? let me tell you my story, i have 2 brothers and my mom and dad. my parents work from home and my oldest brother is in college. i’m almost 13, so yes i’m on the younger side but i need to make a change. 6th grade was really hard for me, from being constantly left out, to just not being able to keep up mentally with everything. last august my parents, and youngest brother ( who’s older than me) set off to travel the country for a year. it’s been such a privilege, but it’s really made me realize that i’m missing the point of life. we are going back home in 2 weeks and i’m so excited. i have my bedroom all planned out, down to the exact furniture and everything. and me being pretty messy, i’m really worried i’m going to just screw it up. i just want everything to be perfect. my eating habits aren’t good, i don’t get enough exercise, i’m not organized, and i just want to be able to keep not only myself but my life clean. and i just want some help trying to figure out how to make such a huge switch with a family that constantly picks on me. but i love them so much, so i don’t care, but it gets to me sometimes. so, any advice?
I think slow and steady is the key if you want to make a lifestyle change. No one is perfect (even though it seems like some people are sometimes) so don't be so hard on yourself! Baby steps and patience is key because nothing happens over night.
