The art of Upcycling ... I used 3D printer stuff that my husband saved for me, along with his discarded electronic junk. There are amazing textures to be found among geeks! Life needs Art, doesn't it?!
I love the many colours of paint and industrial vib, but not industrial colours! A warm mix not dark or greys like many industrial works. Made me smile too!
Thanks for commenting… it would be interesting to do something with more subdued colours along with a brighter ground … I might play with that if I can stop being a sucker for jewel tones!!
Hi! Just subscribed and watched 4 videos on the trot before dragging myself away to cook dinner. I love how you recycle and design and also your colour choices, even the ones you don't like kinda work! Tfs
Hi Dorothea! How are you? Happy New year to you too. I love the end result of this. Before you even mentioned "city view" I was thinking that. Like a close up Google Earth of a city/town. Love the final colors, they are my favorite. I've been busy working on a few projects. Took note of all your tips and ordered some of that clear varnish/glue you use to drip/pour over your placed objects. Are you on Instagram?
Hi Friend! Thanks for your compliment! Yes I’m on Instagram. You’ll see what I’m working on now : @DorotheaLeBlancArt. I post time lapse clips there, almost as I make them. What are your projects about? Hope you like the pouring medium! And waiting for me on iMovie are a couple of large video projects that I’m dragging my feet on (because of too many clips). One day I’ll get to them …
@@dorothealeblancart called "Liquitex 7508 Professional Fluid Medium/Glazing" That's what I got, I hope that's right. Tried to write it down before. Will be gluing down colored broken glass. Not real glass. Been working on my bathroom--painting moldings, stenciling doors, making my faux Moroccan mirrors, etc. Got my cheap scroll saw. Will be cutting mirrored-acrylic sheets to fit the Moroccan frames when weather allows outdoor work.
@@dorothealeblancart Yikes, that is brutal. I don't do well in cold weather. My joints start to hurt no matter how warm I dress. I turn into the Tin Man. One of these years we need to go south for the winter. Stay warm!
