I used to own a Palmer Daccapo. Don't go there. I now own 2 Radial EXTC stereo and sold the Palmer. Radial is high quality, no comparison really.

Hey, presuming that you researched the big six, I was wondering how you would have routed your fx sends on it? I am looking at something like this. Probably don’t need quite so many sends though.

I thought a bout that, but I have 3 pedal chains always on, so I need just one more!

I think the lvx is way more versatile than the microcosm, while the latter is very useful for live performances where you need instant magic

@@OoraMusic thanks for the reply! Electronic music is mostly a very expensive hobby for me. I rarely perform live as I am in desperate need of a new mixer (and don’t have a set I feel confident performing yet. My town wants CDJs and hits, or there are depressingly empty dubstep shows that once were so fun.) but can’t decide what is more practical at under $700: a DJ style mixer (obviously the best options here are far out of my price range, like the Model 1/1.4 and the A&H Xone line), or a more traditional “front of house” mixer like a Yamaha, Mackie, or Tascam. I feel like I’m often paying for onboard digital effects or recording capabilities that will be vastly out paced by my Elektron devices reverb/delay/chorus, Perkons BBD, Eventide H9Max, Oto BOUM, audio interface and DAW, and whatever pedal I get next. My birthday is coming in a few days and wanted to treat myself to a cool new pedal that gives me more flexible reverb and delay options, as well as freeing up the H9 to utilize its more wild and weird effects. Have looked at CBA Mood mkII, CBA GenLoss mkII, Walrus M1, Hologram Microcosm, LVX Merris, and plenty more that I’ve managed to rule out for now, haha. The GAS never ends. I do not need them, but I am dying for a Syntakt, Octatrack (I feel I could use this as a mixer and send/return unit, as well as its own sample mangler and effects unit…), and an analog poly or multi timbral synth to balance my Digitone (tho, the Arturia micro freak seems like an affordable and nice sounding solution. Have also thought about just a nasty mono bass synth, like the Dreadbox Hades, but think I’ll find a one trick pony to be exactly that, if you follow me.) Maybe it’s the Oora fan in me that just wants a Perfourner and more Elektron gear when I should really find a nice affordable mixer that fits my needs (market is so saturated with gear it’s hard to mot feel paralyzed sometimes), save for a used Octatrack as my “mixer”, or just f**kin treat myself to a cool pedal for my birthday. But most of this music and internal GAS is happening at home, as I am an active rock/punk/metal/any-genre-that-is-paying-me-to-sit-in if I’m not busy with my full time band, helping run the studio, or doing carpentry work.
