I have Lynette, Theo, and Fiore as my 5 stars. I must say it’s been a pleasant experience. My team has felt pretty invincible throughout the game. I’m 100 hours in and have completed the Master of All story about 5 days ago. So ready for the next chapter. Last but not least, always look forward to you’re videos. High quality content
wow, I am current ly at level 50ish, and struggling at riven castle. has been wandering around looking for stupid cat, but it always escaped LOL. right now trying to get enough items to fit all of my unit to best gear before fight against that pesky clown again
@@goenawanarief4027 I'm in the same spot as you - my party is in the low-mid 50s (but a little under-geared defensively still) and the clown kicked my ass on my first attempt. Decided to just do my daily hunt/caits and farm a little each day until I can try again on the weekend lol
Thank you for explaining the minutia behind saving the Lynette dupe instead of just saying "It's worth it, trust me". With context, it makes a lot of sense how important that dupe is.
ty for being the only creator covering this games global launch questions. discord and reddit are dodgy, other creators are just new players like the rest of us
I’ve had Lynette as my first five star, and I’ve never noticed she has the swap passive. She’s so oppressive already with her 20% buff skill, so I’m looking forward to pairing her with my debuffer in the front row for big damage!!
In addition to learning about my favorite - and starter - unit, I learned some more about general strategy here. Happy to hear that I was wise to pair Viola and Lynette of my own accord, but never considered Theo as a good partner. Thanks again, Shizukatz!
I just pulled Lynette the other day and paired her with Viola for now. Currently, both of them are faster than the rest of my team, so switching between the two will apply the passive buff before anyone else moves for the turn.
Thank you for another great video. I appreciate you sharing all this knowledge! I particularly like when you talk about units that fit well together for a specific purposes, like the fire/ice dmg teams. I welcome all videos with those types of comments. I particularly liked your buffs video and your 4* and Teambuilding video. CHEERS!
My current team and the one I use the most for storyline: - Scarecrow (*5 & A3) - Lynette (*5) - Cyrus (*5) - Viola (*5) - Fiore (*5) - Theo (*4.5 & A1) - Millard (*4.5) - Devin (*4 & A2/3) the only *4 star tank because I don't have Gilderoy yet
The entire time I was watching this, all I could think was how it seems like she was made specifically to be partnered with Viola. I pulled a 4.5 star of her this morning, the day after I got Primrose.
Well when I was pulling for Sophie step up banner I got luck and on step 5 got Lynette and Viola on the same pull. Fiord was my default 5 star character. I am now having a great time with this game now.
just pull her today and come straight here and wow this help alot. i still don't much about who to pair with or who a good match with who but since I have theo as my starter and got her i went and pair them up. she my six five star with theo, gil, and sofia (my tressa and scarecrow are only 4 star at the moment). Can you do a video on who pairs up best with who and why you think their the best pairs?
Just a warning before I joke this might be a spoiler: Watch, her EX version is going to be Thief (for Thief tower if not the Standard Limitef) and then she’ll dominate as the NEW Debuff Queen LOL
Thank you for the guide. Although I haven't got Lynette (stop rerolling for this team 5* Viola, Tressa, Scarecrow, Theo which already insane). Is Primose worth to pull over Lynette or better to WAIT for someone else? I will pulling for Cyrus & Therion aswell, mainly going for the META & is there any dancer class that highly used in JP?
Always pull thro the step up banners, instead of the normal one. U need a dancer: if u got Lynette then you're good BUT, if the pulled out one is Primrose..then congrats: she's bettern then Lynette (more SPD, MAG, CRIT and her buff cover more stats then the Lynette one).
Once Sofia hits Lv50, there is no benefit from having Aslyte or Wingate behind her. Sofia and Aslyte both being in the frontline together is a very strong Ice combo!
Pretty sure you just made this video to justify pushing everyone to pull for Lynette. Jk, I'm just bitter cause I still haven't pulled Lynette yet. I liked how you delved into pairs/trios, definitely helps in planning going into the future.
@@ShizukatzCotC Okey many thanks, and just another question what to farm in the endgame, the 4 BT + Elites close to Flamesgrace + elites from Stillwater subterrane ?
Great guide as always! How do you juggle with Lynette's buffs between the other 3 rows? Or do you usually keep a static 3 dps without much swapping? I'm usually swapping in the backrows to spend their BP and help breaking, but struggle with timing of buffs etc. Also do you think we'll get the bravely fan? When did it release in JP?
@@puzemi Usually for fights I'll have units that are designated to be the "better" attacker of the two units in each row, which will usually be the ones staying in front more often and receiving most of the buffs. This is of course assuming that I have a party specifically organized for the fight, which in the later stages of the game, you will be doing basically all the time.
Question when Lynette swaps rows does the buff stay on the front row does it stay on the character? So if front row then swaps does that mean the buff is wasted as the character now in the front row was never buffed?
@@ShizukatzCotC thanks for the quick response now watching your buff and debuff video and learning a lot and greatly changing the way I was considering building my team. Thank you!
Got lucky enough to pull three 5* Lynettes :D So I was able to save one Awakening Stone after using one to boost her stats by 30%. And though I'm sure it was covered in the video, I watched the section twice and still don't know why I'm saving the Awakening Stone? Is it a necessary resource to boost her Special down to 3 turns or something?
Yes, it is. Going from Lv9 to Lv10 requires using an Awakening Stone, which reduces the necessary BP spent to 3 BP. With a Level 90 Lynette, you can start every fight at 3 BP instead of just 1.
I just started a few days ago and I pulled Lynette as my starter... then pulled primrose randomly as my free one.... :( idk if i'm lucky or unlucky haha
Quick note on specials: You actually use one less BP to fully charge special for the first time because you get initial %charge on it. All buff special can get to full using only 3BPs regardless of lv. The important point for lv10(which is the only level that need awakening stone) is that 1. You can use it twice per battle instead of once 2. Lynette’s special is extended by one turn giving much more room for preparing burst damage.
The part about it "already being in the game" was in reference to weapons with that statline already being available, and the Bravely Fan itself is not in the game until the Bravely Default collab. Sorry for any confusion.
@@elioc4974 Check the google sheets link in the video description. It's a bit outdated as I've been busy and haven't filled it out with some of the most recent characters but it has most characters.
It will eventually be unlocked by buying an item from the exchange using a new resource that becomes available as part of the Bravely Collab. Then, at Kota's shop in Nameless Town (also not in EN yet) you enhance it like you would with Innocent Weapons.
