@@adisatoyinbelawu9521 I think an iPad cuts down on my time spent re-writing and formatting my notes into study guides. It also makes taking notes quickly on the PowerPoint during lecture a breeze. However, it is not a computer with browsers that have full capabilities for all websites. I have some sites for school right now that I can only ever access with my laptop. For that reason, I would buy a laptop first if you don’t already have one. An iPad is just a convenient accessory but not a replacement.

@@katsteel2004 I think any laptop computer will do! Nursing school may require doing virtual simulations and labs, which can take a good bit of power to run. There are two things I would prioritize when choosing a laptop for nursing school: 1. how well it can run intensive programs (does it overheat easily? how fast does the battery drain when on zoom classes?) and 2. storage. I had a Lenovo Edge 2 for 6 years before buying a MacBook Air. If you already own Apple products, I find the MacBook is more seamless for transferring files between ipad or phone and the computer. An added plus is that I can work on something on my laptop and then continue working on it on my iPad or iPhone whenever I want. A simple workaround for that is saving things to a drive that constantly updates itself on all your devices, such as OneDrive. Instead of using AirDrop to send images/files/etc from my iPhone to my Lenovo, I just emailed them to myself.

I want to study nursing, I'm thinking of buying an iPad but I'm not sure which one should I buy 11 pro or 12.9 pro cuz people say I should get a 12.9 which is so much expensive that I can afford, they say it's much better for note-taking... I have one, and I personally think it's a little too big for me. I think the 11" one is more functional for portability. There are also other iPads that are cheaper and still Apple Pencil compatible. The best idea would be to try and go to whatever store that carries them and just hold both sizes in your hand and try to think of the functionality of both. Hope this helps!

I’m following this! I need to know, I have a (according to apple) a vintage MacBook Pro but I’m thinking a iPad Pro would be a little more of leeway rather than getting a whole new laptop, trying to see if it would be possible

I think you need both the ipad and laptop.. otherwise, you need a laptop
