Love the wallpaper on your laptop and iPad. I keep forgetting about the split view on the iPad, need to use that more. Funny how you had Mother’s Day up on your calendar then, it was Mother’s Day here yesterday. Feel free to talk more about your workouts, I’m sure it will help a lot of people. I love the graphic design stuff I can do on the iPad, it’s surprising how capable it is. Great video again my friend! 🎉
Purchasing the 14 Pro 6.1 and mini was the best decision. When out and about, I no longer need the 11’ iPad Pro, digital camera, or the Pro max. Much easier to carry around without the worry of being mugged or ripped off while using the camera or larger iPad.
I own an ipad mini 5 (and an ipad pro 2018 too) I wish for an ipad mini 7, with a minimum of 128gb, and thinner bazels. It will be a very good companion for my Fujifilm X-E4 photo camera.
As always very useful video. I have been using ipad mini but could not figure out how to make best use of it. This video really helped. Would like to get free wallpapers as you mentioned. Which app do you use to keep track of to-do list or reminders. Also, can you make videos on how you design your artwork.
Me watching this on an iPad mini 👀 I literally feel the same way as you - if I had a tablet in school I feel like my grades would be better! I used to hand write notes on sheets of paper and would get frustrated when they were messy. Apps like GoodNotes make it so easy to make everything look neat while still getting the benefit of handwriting. I would also love to see a tutorial on how you make your animated drawings in Procreate! Great vid as always!
Same! And I’ve heard of good notes but never used it myself. I plan on possibly making an animation tutorial in the future. Thanks so much and good videos 😄
I was looking at having Microsoft office/365 on my mini. With IOS 16 would it be able to create excel, word and PowerPoint documents at a reasonable standard if I connect a big screen and keyboard/ mouse? Trying to come away from having a laptop and a tablet.
I like the mini, but it’s right in the middle of convenience with its size. Not as convenient as my phone, but too small for drawing and web browsing and stuff. Really if I didn’t have a Mac mini I would just use my iPad Pro as my main all in one. Honestly i use it more than my Mac.
Most of the time, I’m more comfortable to use my iPad Air to do all my documents rather than on MacBook Air. Only if the documents are more technical to prepare, I will use my MacBook. It’s also more comfortable to edit my video on iPhone because my idea is best squeezed out when I’m lying down LOL
It's really awesome that you would create wallpapers free for anyone to download that's awesome! Love your videos very lucky to have come across your page a year or so ago.
I’m still on the fence about buying the mini. I don’t like doing everything on my phone and I already have a main computer to do more heavy stuff. I would utilize for streaming like Prime or Crunchyroll, play some app games, and read. I have a PS4 that can do some of those though. I think is more of a cost than getting something that can do the same thing as the stuff I already have.
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2020 model and i did buy the mini but the screen isn’t great make sure you try it out. I had to sell my mini because of the screen. Until it gets pro motion display i would wait to be honest and save your money
I got an iPad last year, still trying to figure out to use it more as i do work from home on my laptop, unfortunately i can’t use the iPads to work, the platform does not work on iPads lol. This video does helps me to get ideas. Thank you
Today I purchased the iPad Air 5th Gen. After watching your videos along with a few others, I started to think working from the iPad would be more beneficial than using my prior laptop. I bought a rather inexpensive Lenovo a few years back and carrying around something larger and outside of the Apple ecosystem didn’t fit in well with my lifestyle. I’ve had an iPhone since 2011 and don’t seem myself ever switching. I’ll be sure to rewatch many of the users videos to see how much the iPad will organize my life and goals.
I’m a university student studying photography and film. I had a 12.9in iPad and recently switched to the mini 6 gen. I had the mini a while back alongside the 12.9in iPad and my macbook but ended up using the mini a lot more. Sold my 12.9 to get a 264gb mini and i’m never going back! i definitely recommend it. Hit me up with any questions!
This is one of the best and simple videos on how great and versatile the Ipad Mini is. I been getting them as Christmas gifts for my family and setting it up for them and their use cases and writing and planning like you said is one of the best use cases. It's just so simple and easy that it becomes like second nature to spend the 15-30 minutes just checking quick things you don't want to be bothered by like you said split view is huge when keeping track of the finances. Vanguard is great. I like to have something like skillshare open with a class while I figure out how to clean up my portfolios :) once you get into the swing of things with Notion it becomes one of the best apps on the IOS ecosystem. it's a bit overwhelming at first to get started with it but it really is nice to be able to keep track of those quick to do list and check lists and things of that nature.
@@NicholasGarofola Notion definitely takes a little bit of getting used to but I found jumping between the MacBook and my iPad it is clean and simple and I can get a quick glance at things similar to how you use the calendar with it. I can group together small goals under one header and then when I pull my widget over I can see it with a simple swipe and then I can minimize it or close it and then go on my task without interrupting the flow :) you're welcome 🙂
I think you would get a kick out of a technique I invented and had implemented in a very good iOS writing app, (Notebooks by Alfons Schmid of Austria) that actually and factually makes most editing operations on the iPad Mini FASTER and requiring LESS ANATOMY than what is normal on a regular computer. So... you've got pretty fast inputting on the comfortable 8" virtual keyboard, way faster editing, (no longer requiring selection and dragging of mini-handles), very fast formatting (thanks to markdown and certain markups), crazy fast dictionary look-ups (as well as Wikipedia type stuff). That makes the iPad mini the one and only instant-on, work anywhere, in any position writing device for long form writers (novelists, screenwriters, translators, scholars, lawyers, etc.) on the market.
Does your calendar widget update automatically without having to open the app first? I've been struggling with this problem to the point of wanting to delete the widget.
Thank you so much for sharing your insight. This video came at a right time. When I was a student, I did not find iPad fit for my study because I like to take notes on my textbooks so I just gave it to my sister. However, I am reconsidering buying an iPad mini as my planner and e-reader as I don't want to carry a physical planner and physical books around, but I get easily distracted so I have to think carefully about this.
I bought the iPad mini 6 twice and returned it. But yet again I’m back at looking at it again. I have a 2018 11 inch pro. I enjoy it but the portability of the iPad mini is in matched. I wish the iPad mini will reduce the bezels and add promotion.
I use the iPad of the 6th generation and it helps a lot to increase my productivity. Here is study, planning and entertainment. I want to buy an iPad mini soon, because it is more compact and lightweight By the way, if you need help with Notion, let's get in touch. I have a cool minimalistic template for tracking projects and information from courses
Hello, man i can see that with each video you got better and better and your shots are so good for eyes, so i would be very interested in seeing your gym routine or your diet habits, it could bring new people and would be so inspirative for me. With greetings from Czech Republic Ondrej
