+Trilltrill 24 Actually, one main reason is that a lot of your phone is constant: the names of things, the orders of things,... and we start aro be able to recognize what stuff is within the first sylable. So it just makes sense to speed it up. I organized my phone into folders and alphebetically so that I barely have to listen at all.

The amount of people saying “she doesn’t look blind” is hilarious. What exactly is a blind person supposed to look like?? There are sooo many different types of blindness and many of them don’t effect the physical appearance of the eyes. Just because she doesn’t look or act the exact way you expected, doesn’t mean she’s lying! As with anyone who faces a challenge, she has adapted to living without her sight and many of the things you believe are impossible for her to do, are more than possible with a little ingenuity. Before leaving a comment do a little research or watch a few of her videos. She actually answers a lot of the commonly asked questions and explains how she does a lot of things. How about letting this video inspire you and teach you something about he world rather than just spreading more negativity around!

Rosie Cowan-Wilce I always learn please and thank you in any language, by asking. Weather it’s the Korean man at my local convenience store, or the Egyptian lady at the 7-Eleven. When you take the time to learn please and thank you in their native language, it always brings a smile to their face. Sign language was the first language I learned because I worked with the public and noticed a few deaf people every few months.
@justinnguyen1290

I was the same way Rosie until one day we had a blind lady get a iPhone but never used voice over before. I told her since she bought 3 classes that if she gave me 2 weeks to train myself that I was confident I could teach her. Well a couple months later she loved it so much she got an iPad and an iMac. I got a valuable learning experience with voice over! Plus if I ever go blind or very hard of hearing I already have a head start!

Welcome to the RU-vid channel of an awesome girl who is blind. Now, before you comment, read this. Apparently, sighted people unfamiliar with blindness are often so curious about what they see in her videos and so surprised by a normal girl being blind that they lose all kinds of manners and maturity. In almost all of her videos the comments are filled with newcomers saying they can't believe she's blind, is she really blind, is she lying, how blind is she, wait is she really blind because she does this or doesn't do this, why does she look at the camera, why are her eyes shaking? She has videos answering all of these questions - go to her channel! Watch them! Educate yourself. If you must post a comment on this video, please do so with some respect and manners. I think all of Molly's videos need this disclaimer posted at the top. I don't know why people come to her videos and post such naive and rude comments.

I have to say... I'm so sorry for how EXHAUSTING these comments are! So many comments saying rude and ignorant things. You've addressed all these issues time and time again in your videos, in a simple and interesting way. Yet people watch two minutes of your video and leave a big comment with reasons why you're not blind. COME ON PEOPLE. If someone wanted to go on RU-vid and PRETEND to be blind, THEY WOULD MAKE IT LOOK WAY MORE STEREOTYPICAL. They'd wear sunglasses. They'd go out of their way to emphasize not being able to see. They wouldn't go on camera and display a natural command of a phone, for fear of this exact thing: people accusing them of faking it. It's much harder to convince people you're blind when you pretty much don't do ANYTHING that is stereotypical "blind behaviour"... as you can see by all the ignorant comments. I'm just not understanding the logic here.

I still rely on vision, but if I tell people I am partially sighted they just think it's the same as being short-sighted. People literally telling me to do eye exercises and then I won't need glasses anymore. Like poor eyesight is a result of poor personal choices. Molly's videos are helping me get 'future proofed' as my eyes get worse. She's wonderful.

My 6 year old daughter has Aniridia and a small cataract in one eye and so far, from what we can tell she actually sees pretty well for her condition, but many people with her condition lose their vision somewhere in their late teens, twenties or thirties. I'm just starting out on this journey to find out how to help her, because her first ophthalmologist was a joke and didn't bother to tell us what she has or that she could lose her vision, and it's all so overwhelming so videos like this are very helpful.

Angelic Devil especially if people are in like middle-high school. I get questions all the time of how I type so fast without looking at the letters. I always answer with, “we’ve been writing for 7 years. It’s simple.” Because well, it is once you get used to it, especially when I’ve been writing for so long that it’s easier to write faster without looking at all. P.S. just something I wanted to share. I can also put all my fingers on for example, a letter to spell like, lollipop, I can spell it and know where the letters are even though my fingers are all on different letters.

I’m sighted and I was taught how to touch type by grandmother (who worked in a typing pool with typewriters before she married my grandpa) and my mother who is a life long office worker and had typing classes as school. My primary school also taught us the basics of touch typing.

Angelic Devil right? My dad and I both work in fields where we use an architectural program called autoCAD. To use it most effectively you type in commands then make what you need with your mouse. I've gotten excellent at just typing quickly with my left hand alone within a few weeks, as did my dad. My dad using the program for about 15 years later developed a pain in his shoulder and he was forced to use the mouse with his left and type all the commands with his right and he was back to his usual speed within a few weeks. I don't know how people don't understand how one can type without looking, whether it's with one hand or both. We are intelligent beings, or at least I thought we all are 😂

OMG... I'm here by accident but I'm not mad at all. I just want to say few words to people who say "She is not blind". I've watched another few videos of her so I can tell: 1) How she looks at camera? She can see the light above the camera. 2) Why she needs her iPhone to be in color? She wasn't always blind so she can have her favourite one. And she is not alone in the world - even if she can't read by herself that the phone is pink someone can tell her. 3) How she know what's her case? Is that even a question? She is not alone in the world! Someone can told her for God sake! 4) This is the question for you - why do you think pretending being blind is cool? Pls... Just stop talking stupid shit. Love and greetings from Poland. 😙

I’m not being rude or anything but the people that are saying “How can she see the camera” and “she’s not even blind” well first of all she has a light on top of her camera so she looks at it because she can see the light and second of all she is blind I think she said in one of their videos that I have seen that she said she went blind a 14 so all of y’all stop saying she’s not blind why would someone joke about being blind like y’all don’t know anything about being blind unless you are blind.Ya’ll are literally saying she’s not blind because “she looks at the camera” y’all can clearly tell she is not looking at the camera! So stop commenting that she is not blind because she is y’all don’t know that much about her personal information and if you watched most of her videos then y’all would know if she is blind or not which she is blind,So stop commenting that she’s not blind because she is looking directly at the camera.which she’s NOT.

Thanx to invisible I who guided me here! I am happy to say that not online people don’t care about how they look. I live somewhere where you see many blind people and seeing some of them you ask yourself where the hell did they get those terrible clothes and hair dresses from? In law people can say that I’m blind I only see 1.6% on one eye. I use the iPad and the iPhone, too. And at work I use Jaws and magic and a Braille-line (sorry if this isn’t the correct word, I’m from Germany and I have never learned that word.). You wanted some ideas for apps which are adjustable for blind people I can tell you some because I use some. Because I have a little rest of you I have apps which on that excessive her but I won’t named them.You find in the App Store “Accessible Minesweeper” I think you could know the origin of the game that was played in the 90s on computer now you can play it on the iPhone or iPadThere’s an App called “TapTapSee”. You take your phone and make a picture of what’s in front of you and then this app will tell you what you see. I tried this with my guy dog and is told me that there’s a silver labrador.You find cutter say, too. You use your camera on your phone and it tells you which color the thing the camera looks at Hese. But color say isn’t that good I must admit.I absolutely love the app voice time it tells you either every hour what time it is or every half hour. I think it’s also available in English. But you could also use anymore Moses or whatever you like. There’s also for square I think it’s enough with which you can share the place you are at the moment but I don’t know more about it because I never used it.Which app is quite useful is BlindSquare. It’s no real navigation app that you can say tell me what’s around me let’s say about 500 m and then it tells you maybe 9 o’clock restaurant McDonald’s so can be helpful. Another blunt person you told me that he uses this app combined with Google Maps and so he can navigate but I didn’t try that yet so I can’t tell you if it really works.I have problems with sleeping and I wanted to find out how much I sleep and I found the app sleep polls. Now it’s sleep. three and it is quiet accessible for blind person. This new version only tried one so I can’t say that it’s absolutely accessible.Barcoo is a Scanner for barcodes. When the camera recognize the product key is there is an only tell you which products you have fun also tells you where you can get it and how much it costs in shop X or Y. I’m sorry if I’ve made mistakes in writing, but I use the dictation function off my iPad and sometimes it seems as if it’s nearly deaf and writes what it wants. 😉As far as I know it should be possible to combine your iPhone or iPad with Brailleline. The brailleIine I have isn’t compatible with my iPhone or iPad but never mind. I learned writing without watching the keys grandma too. It’s normal and schools for blind and visually impaired children here so I have to learn how to ride without looking at the keyboard even if they can’t see the keyboard. So I can type quite fast.By the way I found on a shop case for my iPad which includes a keyboard. So I can’t use that keyboard but when I have to put my iPad on the table and clip the magnetic park to the keyboard and then they combine with each other via Bluetooth and I can start typing. Usually I am too lazy to look for my keyboard. So the people Who are you right to our command on RU-vid that’s the problem that they have to guess what I wanted to say sometimes. 😂
