I see a lot of videos of american/european campers securing their tents, carrying weapons, hiding their stuff etc. to protect themselves and their property. Gives me some faith in humanity that in Japan you don't have to worry about such a thing.
Thank you for another video. Congratulations again for 51k subscribers now. Only 19 videos and 51k subscribers. One of your videos has 500k views too. Congratulations Congratulations!!!!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 😊❤
Funny you say that, because I actually just dealt with someone that didn't even know where their property lines were after they bought an "as-is" property. They closed, but bought something they didn't know what they were paying for. Maybe if you provided value to your clients, you would've felt different? Hope you found a better fit for your life.
I can understand how you feel. The life of a regular japanese salaryman seems quite monotone and boring. You are homeless right now. But you have more freedom than many other people.
@@kenjiFriend yeah and also lonely inaka roads through the mountain or the small service roads along the expressways, lots of refrigerators and random household sodaigomi.
@@bonsai-effect i was really shocking. something that really blew me away is walking up a subway staircase there were a pair of shoes randomly there people moving around them
This infuriated me in japan tbh... I dont throw trash in my own country but the extremely limited number of trash receptacles in public in Japan can be a real burden to navigate, especially as a tourist/visitor.
Wages are stagnant worldwide it seems, and the work life in Japan seems unsustainable for the younger generations.... something has to change because the society is ageing
USA, China, Korea, and japan has some of the worst work force. In the USA and China, they will screen you out if you are in your 30s or older. USA discrete, China in your face. Japan workforce has hive mentality where you need to wear and act the same as others and bullying. I was bullied at my job in the USA and my job tricked me. I should had left at the incident but they promised to move me, a raise, and to fire the manager who was doing it for months. I got nothing and was fired later on. They claimed I missed too days because my relative died, when corporate approved my leave to help with the funeral!
Change is coming because those who have ruled the planet from behind the scenes for eons are being taken down. It takes time for everything to be reorganised. and for the matrix minions to be flushed out (that is those who knowingly have worked to keep the matrix in place). We don't know who we are yet.
i also suffered with depression but what helped me was thinking of the people that care about me. you have so many friends that care for you and your fans too! at least 53 thousand people! enjoy the outdoors and traveling and always think of how many peoples lives you improve with your videos! if you ever come down to Canada you are very welcome to stay at my house but keep in mind i am a big beer drinker and will recommend you many beer hahahah.
I don’t know why but Japanese convenience store food looks so high quality compared to the states. Happy to see the community slowly recognizing you more and more. Keep going!
Travellers widely agree that Japan has the best convenience store food in the world. IMHO Taiwan has the best convenience stores though because they all have seating areas, often with electric outlets,, but the food is much worse than in Japan, where seating areas are very rare.
Hi mate, I've only been watching for the last 15 vids, but you are a chilled, down to earth dude. I'm going through some similar struggles myself the past 6 months. Suffering depression and anxiety is no joke. 😖 Wishing you all the best, from Australia. Kind regards, Benji 🤜🤛
I'm so glad Pearl gave you that boost. Can't even imagine what it feels like not having a home to go back to. I feel sorry for homeless people everywhere. Housing should be a human right. Stay strong!
I have been homeless off and on for years since I graduated high school. 12 years now. I am in section 8 housing finally in America, for low income (trouble finding high paying jobs) and disabled people. I lived in a tent for a few months, my car for a few months, and mostly I lived on people's couches in their living room paying them rent or a spare bedroom (but not on a lease, they own the house so it was cheaper rent) and buying groceries and helping cook and clean. I love to travel so I mostly didn't mind but it does affect you sometimes. 3 times I moved back in with family. You are so strong to be living this life but still keeping a smile. Hoping for all the best for you and will be here the whole way.
As an american watching this i love it, the people are so friendly, everything is so clean, no Dope heads laying around asking for change... i wish our culture could be more like this!
I really felt what you said about micromanagement. I have had two types of jobs in my life. One in a hospital which involved a lot of physical labor and back pain. The other was an office job at a very large soulless company. The micromanagement and passive aggressive boss, as well as constant performance reviews and way too many meetings led me to quit within one year. Sometimes the "comfortable" office job is way worse than physical labor. I hope you will get to 100k soon! Rooting for you!
I have a very similar story. Hard work, lots of stress, low pay haha. One day i had enough and said you know what, im done. I decided to travel America on foot, frieght train, hitch hike, whatever i wanted. I hiked the Appalachian trail and then sailed with a friend on an old sailboat aroung the gulf of Mexico for 6 months. I traveled through 38 states and ended up meeting a girl in California and we ended up getting married a year later. Been married now for 5 years and couldnt be much happier. 31 now and still think about all those night spent outside under the stars. Living like that is hard but when you go back to civilization you will miss parts of it. Stay strong friend and keep up the journey for all of us to watch!
I’m also 37. Having a wife and kids makes me realize how fragile that divider of work/life balance is. I work for a global CPG company as an analyst and most days it’s a grind. Wages aren’t bad and I comfortably support my family, but there is no margin for error.
I have been following a few pages to learn more about Japan. Oriental Pearl showed up in my feed an now can't get enough of your videos. I have had a fear of one day becoming homeless due to economy . Anyway love the videos an seeing more of Japan an learning about diff parts of culture. Always hope to travel there one day. North Carolina USA
I love that you are being conscientious of the trash you are responsible for and you mention this to remind others =) If I wasn´t close to be homeless myself I would be helping you out more than just views, likes and subscribing!!! I have also been houseless for years and feel your plight deep in my bones...
KEEP POSTING! I know there are times when you feel discouraged and sad...just know that you are not alone! I am cheering you on!! I feel that you are a good soul and great opportunities will start to come your way. Maybe Japan isn't the place for you. STAY POSITIVE, STAY OPEN MINDED, AND DO NOT EVER GIVE UP!
Your a good kid, I hope you find success and stability and maybe a home. Be a good example for the other skate board kids, they need a good roll model. I don't do skate boards I just ride a bicycle and do some camping here in the UK :) I'll watch your channel going forward and leave a thumbs up to help your channel. Best wishes Sandy
That is funny bcz I was just thinking about how he would be doing things different if he had a wife and kid. There is freedom but lonleness too. Id be this man if it wasnt for my mom and my close friends. Any of us could be him.
I’m 46 and my daughters are in college. As soon as the youngest left I sold everything and now I’m on my way out of the USA… for however long and to wherever the adventure takes me! This channel showed up just in time to inspire me to go on and do my thing!
When, my kids were younger , I met many “nomads” during my international travels- they were either straight out of high school or their kids were already adults. Eventually, as the remote to work became popular, I noticed an increasing number of people from all walks of life and age groups just traveling and working from their laptops and or picking up random jobs to support their traveling lifestyle. So yeah, this is a thing.
@@HadrianGuardiola I actually felt extremely lonely, just being stuck in a lifestyle that I don’t want to live based on values that I don’t agree with . Traveling and meeting new people around the world and experiencing different cultures is far less lonely than sitting by myself in my comfortable house in a spiritless consumer culture and loosing my mind from stress and boredom. Staying in touch with family and friends via WhatsApp or facebook or zoom video chats is relatively easy cheep and convenient! At least for me.
I have combat ptsd boy depression sucks i struggle everyday with flashbacks nightmares etc military service done this to me I feel like I’ve been forgotten just have to take life one day at time. I wish you the best of luck in your journey.
Happy Birthday to you! 🎂 It's June 3rd in Colorado and today so your offical birthday! Trust and believe good things are coming to you in ways you could never possibly expect. Make 3 wishes for your new birth year. I promised a friend who gifted me $20 recently when I was tight on money that I would pay it forward to someone else when I could. So I gift it to you. Have faith in miracles and keep hope alive!
I don’t blame you I would never want to be a salaryman. Working every single day and for very long hours. That would turn anyone into an alcoholic. You’re doing great brother stay strong.
8:00 Being perfection-oriented can be a good thing for yourself but only to a certain point. It's good to strive for greatness, but you also have to always remember that every failure is a learning experience and nobody moves forward _without_ making mistakes somewhere and some way. Be great but don't let the search for greatness take over who you are. Congrats again on -50K- 50.9K subs bro 🔥🔥
I believe you're a good guy. I feel sad seeing you in this predicament. I have a son about your age. I haven't seen or heard from him about 10 years now. I subscribe. You look after yourself & God bless you 🙏
Just watched all your vids in order, what a journey man. You really out there surviving, luckily I've also seen you thriving with friends and community. Beautiful story man, you seem like a very genuine guy and people seem to feel that whenever you're visiting. It's a heart warming thing to experience. Hoping you'll get your belly full tonight
5:18 this shot/transition beginning with the flowers, going through the grass and ending in the sunset was one of the most stunning I've ever seen on RU-vid- beautiful!!
Thanks for the vids, you seem very level headed and I'm sure you're going places. Good on you for quitting a situation when it's taking you down. Good luck and I'll follow you!
Started watching you only a few weeks ago. I was homeless from the ages of 17 - 24. And I resonate with a lot of your content. Keep posting bruv. You deserve good things. 🎉
Hey man just wanted to say your an inspiration not because your a RU-vidr but how you keep a positive outlook on life depending the circumstances. Keep your head up I’m rooting for your success!
Thank you for sharing your story... I can feel you because ive been through the same thing. What a beautiful sunset. Enjoy the moment. Everything is going to be alright or even better. We go up and down in life. Stay safe robin! lets go monetization!!!
@@NomadPush wish I could do more! You deserve it, much love from the US. Thanks for being such an awesome person, I definitely think you'll hit 100k subs by the end of the year!
The way you described your job was so relatable. A lot of people out there live lives of quiet desperation drowning in jobs like that. You sharing your experience will help men realize they aren’t alone in feeling that way. Upvoted, subbed and good luck!
Thank you for sharing. I would be too embarassed to tell my parents let alone internet strangers about your situation. You take life in stride it seems. Wish you the best sir.
So sorry you had to struggle with mental health but it seems you’re coming out the other side now. From the UK really love your content great to see your country through your camera ❤
That was so sad, it broke my heart, and in a way i admire you for your courage to quit that workplace and choose the freedom, we all are suffering in those type of workplace day by day and just dream about freedom but never dare to make that move. You seem to be sad and lonely tonight. I wish you a good company in your travel, a good friend. Take care.
If you are happy now then you 💯 percent made the right choice! Life is too short to be miserable so you keep doing whatever makes you happy! I love watching these videos & learning a little about Japan. I am disabled & cannot travel that far so thank you & safe travels.
@NomadPush Good🥰 I suffer from depression too, but your story inspires me. If you can keep pushing even when it's hard, then I can too!! Sending you positive energy!✨️
Hi. New Nomad-San here. Apache-San from Arizona, U.S.A., if you will. 😊 I am Native American from the White Mountain Apache Tribe. From here to Japan, I send hugs. Please don't disappear. 😊❤
I was homless as 18 yo kid for couple of months in Spain and I can say its very hard sometimes. You are a good guy I think and I hope it will be better for you I mean with loneliness, sadness and warm place to stay. Greetings from Poland and never give up!
Man, you keep up what you're doing and do one more great collaboration, you will hit 100k before August!! I'm happy that I binged all your videos to help get you to monetisation and I plan on binging again, and I will continue to comment on every video and share. We all love to see somebody go full heartedly, 100% all in towards their dreams! And I love that you are just honest about who you are, what you do, and what you love. And you are a good friend! Keep skating towards your dreams! One day I hope to meet you in America! I'd love for you to skate across America and my family will show you a good time! ❤
I worked graveyard shift and an hour drive to work. Worked sunset to sunrise, 12+ hours mon-fri and 10 hours on Saturday. Only day i had off was sunday to skate with friends, laundry, spend time with wife and grocery shopping. Eventually it made me depressed trying to fit everything in 1 day and realized having time off made me more happy and i quit that job. I learned to live within my means and dont need much stuff so i didnt have to work more hours then i needed. Boss would ask me to work ot and i just say no. Work to live not live to work! Skater 4 life brother
Corporate Japan isn't an easy place to be for those who grew up outside of Japan. I always get the feeling they are loosing it on too much detail, unattached goals and insufficient vision.
