Honestly, I think Mei is really bad but really annoying. Too much damage and such a low skill ceiling. She is amazing for the lower ranks but is just a way to feed in the higher ranks. The re-work she got was ok but she needs to have less of a ‘dualist’ playstyle and more of a ‘help the team’ playstyle to actually reward her for playing with the team as opposed to going off on a wild flank to kill the widow. In my opinion, I don’t think she takes much skill at all. Granted, her icicles do take some precision but that’s about all the skill she takes. She is like mercy but with a lower skill-ceiling. Anyone can pick her up and more-or-less play relatively well. These are the reasons why I dislike the bastion re-work too. Opposed to common beliefs, bastion takes at least 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 skill, in positioning, aim, and gamesense. All in all, blizzard was right in re-working mei but just made the wrong changes.

This is what ow2 needed to take their time ever since they reworked the heroes everything has got messed up instead of taking away their abilities how about you work on what they had in ow1. Like they did it with sombra, and with mei not able to fully freeze someone makes no sense. Zarya double bubble herself twice is mad annoying that like playing mayhem against her.

So I never played ranked in OW1 and so I played ranked now in OW2 and I started with the supports and I played Lucio and mercy. I completely the 7 games and I got silver 2 is that good for a first time player for ranked ?
