Bclub of Awesomeness i’m also a rising junior, and it’s never too early to apply for scholarships!! Obviously there are some that aren’t available to us just yet, but i’ve found a bunch that are available to any high schooler
Hii✨ do you have any scholarship tips for undergraduate international students who want to study medicine on at least a 50% scholarship, it's been really hard for me
Any economically disadvantaged can inbox me on davidogero25@gmail.com Because annually the MasterCard Foundation offers Scholarships for such people to attain both undergraduate and postgraduate Am also their Scholar Am proud of you pretty lady for winning the privileged Scholarship
Most of the scholarships that are “easy” to apply for/get is the when the person applying is still in high school. It’s tough looking for undergrad scholarships
@Haleigh Dawn undergraduate means youre in college to obtain a Bachelor's. Graduate school is requires an undergraduate degree. stuff like Master's degree, law school, med school and so on.
Well someone has to pay for it. It’s either the taxpayer or the person applying. Many taxpayers don’t agree with paying for other people’s education so why should you force people that don’t want to pay for your uni, to pay for your uni?
JoJo, nita a I mean it would be great if it was free, or cheaper and the way to do that is to reduce the business aspect of the university. Apparently 50% of university tuition goes to marketing the university which is horrible in my opinion. We need higher regulations on what can be spent on advertising your university and also to ensure that the people at the top aren’t making more than $200,000 per year for doing nothing. Also I believe it should be partly funded by tax, as whenever the government money is invested in something, it’s in the government and everyone’s interest to ensure your money is being spent well which is why there is less corruption in European universities compared to the USA. It’s unfair for the person receiving an education to be paying $100,000 but equally unfair for the taxpayer. The best solution is to implement laws to reduce the cost of third level education. But also, it makes more sense for the person receiving their education to pay more money for it than a taxpayer who isn’t receiving that education.
But book editors for example should be paid otherwise their job wouldn’t make sense plus how would private institutions pay their teachers and get the needed equipment for their schools? The cost shouldn’t be exaggerated but shouldn’t be 0 either (plus most state school offer almost or totally free services so a private school is more of a choice than a right)
Same I literally had a list of scholarships to apply for I only did 2 and now every due date passed for half the ones I looked up and that's why I am watching this video😭
@@deziibee keep looking! :D I know it’s a little discouraging, but there’s so many opportunities out there! I recommend getting a go merry account (it’s free!) and looking for them. They have “scholarship bundles”, too, which is where you can apply to lots at once with only one application. It’s a time saver! :)
@@deziibee oh also, I recommend raise.me! They give you what they call “micro-scholarships”, which is where they pay you fir what you’re already doing. Like, you out in your classes, grades, volunteer hours, and more, and colleges will reward you for it! Each college also has there own opportunities on the site. Highly recommend!!
@@gabriellas_fan Thank you so much! I just got back into the swing of things when it comes to scholarships. I have been applying through scholarships through go merry this time around and I feel more confident. I also have a raise.me account too once I saw your comment I decided to go back and look at it again. It has been discouraging due to the fact that I want to go to SCAD, which is my dream school but it is a VERY expensive school. But I won't lose hope and plus I have my backups as well.
Hi ! i am a Moroccan ninth grade student and i really want to study in an American top school , i spent the last months searching about the college application process in the US and sometimes it gets reaaaly confusing . I didn't know where to start when it comes to searching about scholarships and your video has been extremely helpful, now that i understand how scholarships work , i feel a lot less lost and confused ahah. So thank you very very very much
Hello, Im palestinian and im going to American highschool for 12th grade and then American college. I can give you my Instagram or snapchat if you need help and explanations.
Going into my senior year with a 3.92 GPA & act score 22 (first time taken, awaiting my last test results), and I'm honestly concerned about scholarships.
congratulations on receiving all of these scholarships!! could u make a video describing the fly-in application process and how u decided which fly-ins u wanted to apply to and attend?
Congratulations on all of your hard work! Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge on this process with everyone. My son is a senior and is right smack in the middle of this process now. You have helped him tremendously with your resources. I wish you the very best in your college career and I have a feeling we will be seeing you in the future as an emerging leader in whatever field you choose! :)
I've been binge watching your videos and girl let me just say, I am too proud of you!!! I cried when you got into Harvard no joke!!! Idk you but you worked really hard and deserve all of this omg
Thank you for your explanation of the scholarship for international students! Because I am an international student as like I don't live in the U.S. It would be helpful for me.
The questbridge college match is not a scholarship. All of the scholarship money that questbridge matches have is from the school's need based financial aid. Some colleges give students who match more financial aid to cover the whole cost of attendance, while others offer the same aid to all admitted students. To some extent, questbridge advertises itself as a scholarship program, but it is not. In my opinion, the best things about questbridge is the free applications (a HUGE benefit) and the community. Even though it is not a scholarship, I would still recommend questbridge to any low-income student. International and undocumented students can apply too.
I just watched your college reaction video and it really made me smile seeing how grateful and sweet you are. Thank you for making this video its really helpful as an incoming junior in high school. What went on your common app? What were your stats?
I am so impressed! Way to go! You are a go-getter! I got accepted into grad school for the Fall and I have been applying since October of 2019 for scholarships. I am getting really nervous since no scholarships have come in yet. My grammar is solid within the essays and I feel the accomplishments are great. Any advice?
You have taken out loans to cover the cost right? Or have a plan b for paying for school? Also how os the pandemic effecting your classes? Im planning to go to grad school in 2021. Are your classes online? I really hope i wont habe any problems with taking in person classses in 2021 or spring semester because i need to go to class to be completely focused on school.
Could you possibly make a video on how to start a good comprehensive spreadsheet for college? They're constantly mentioned but it's a little intimidating since there's so much that could be included in it
If you're talking about whuch colleged you might want to apply to, I'm working on a spreadsheet that has what major im looking at, what minors i might be interested in, acceptance rates, whether its a reach, match or safety school, the clubs and organizations that i would join, the location of the university, where to apply (like common app), what scholarships i could get at the school, and im probably forgetting some but thats a good start for a spreadsheet on colleges
Just saw this video for the first time. Loved the creativity behind the college reveal video. One humble suggestion for this video was that you replace won with earned for the scholarships. You win a raffle or the lottery, you earn scholarships. Yout hard work took all the chance out of receiving your scholarships so they were very much earned. Your accomplishments are off the charts and Stanford is lucky you chose them. I hope your first year went well and have found a home at Stanford. My Princeton and Stanford friends reported that they had such a great experience, they did not want to graduate!
OMG! thank you for telling me about the coca-cola scholarship!! the crazy thing is today is the deadline for it, closing at 5pm and I just applied at 3pm !!!
Thank you for sharing. It shows that you're kind and you want help others. what a wonderful virtue. You're beautiful inside and out. God bless you!! I'll share this to my two teens.
Hi!! I'm 13 and in a homeschool program and they placed me into a program that sets me up to graduate hs before 16. I'm supposed to be in 7th grade this year in public schools but I skipped a grade so I'm now in 8th grade and I'm taking 2 9th grade courses. I have no idea of anything college-wise but I am trying to learn a lot now considering my projected graduation date is sometime when I'm 14 which for me is just under a year away. My school is a year round school and I'm planning on taking minimal breaks in curriculum. I'm expected to be at a high school level curriculum by next year. I'm so excited for college and I've been watching you for the past day and I've learned a lot from you! :))
Omg thank you! You listed websites that I could never find on my own but are so helpful and informative! What u did saved me hours of stress and panic!!
Heyy, I am an international student and it is nice to see that you dedicated part of your video to help us out! Doesn't happen a lot hahaha, good luck on your studies!
thank you so much for this video! idek you but i feel so proud of you, i really admire you and congratulations for all your achievements and kudos to you for all your initiatives!
This was awesome for you and great that you gave back that which you didn't need to help out other students. I wish you all the best. And thanks for the tips. God's love and blessngs!!!
I haven’t finished the entire video yet, (THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT BTW). But I saw the section on state schools and just want to share to research into the school specially if you are transferring from community school. The university I go to (state) doesn’t offer any scholarship merit based to transferred students.
Hi! Thank you for valuable information. If you don’t mind me asking , I didn’t see you apply to any HBCU’s that I can remember. Why is that? I like hearing the different perspectives among us minorities. That’s the only reason I ask. Great content !
These videos are always super helpful. I actually just shared a similar one, but these videos have helped me find scholarships I didn't know to apply to before.
Im a low income student usually college is community college in my family (which is okay) but I want to experience college and go into dentistry I ima be a junior hopefully I can get scholarships for college thank you!!
Now that you're becoming a college freshman, can you also post about how you're preparing for college in terms of organization e.g. what spreadsheets should incoming freshmen make, how to make them, tips/advice for incoming freshman to navigate college life?
