great vid it was nice seeing doublelift win but as an avid fgc fan it was kinda sad not seeing anyone from our community at this event since sf6 was one of the games. no daigo. no punk. no tokido. no justin wong. idk just left a bad taste in my mouth considering they had the game as part of the tournament and all the other games got ppl from their respective community. regardless, i enjoyed the vid i hope to see dlift get rank 1 in league.
I agree buut at the same time, as you can see in the other games even someone who hasn't really played before has a good chance to shine, but an fgc player, even if it isn't their main game, would absolutely no diff DESTROY everybody else 😅😅 it would be a complete wipeout. Even doublelifts good fundamentals would only go a round or two against justin or book or daigo or any of the likes right?
Before he started playing LoL, his background was in fighting games. He was a kid, but he has even said that he'd consider playing fighting games professionally someday.
I didn't really watch the other games outside of League, but watching you play League with all of those other streamers including going out of your way to interact with your teammates who have no experience with the game whatsoever, keeping your cool with the pathetic, mentally ill excuse of organizers who decided not to remake a game while also playing against a team full of players who have actual experience in the game, was one of the most entertaining and exciting moments. It could have been fair, but because it was so rigged with odds heavily against you, I was on the edge of my seat watching that game and Hutch finishes it off. I started watching each of those player's content and I have to say, the cup was a gate to streamers I've never seen before and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Thank you for showing me such a good time.
