what's your point? The threshold for being a top player has increased in the past decade, it's not just about pressing buttons good, you need to be marketable, and part of that comes from making content and building your brand
I’m excited for this game. A lot of people are going to sleep on this game because of the graphics. I’m just so happy that we got a real hunterxhunter fighting game. I can’t wait to play it.
It also enhaces his damage and mobility, that can be combined with overgear for basically erasing people out of existency and he can heal with the holy chain if needed
Love the way you can dissect games the way you do. I don't know if you are full-time RU-vid or what, but I imagine you'd have a great aptitude for game design.
Kurapika is supposed to be like Berserker from DNF Duel. He can baroque cancel all the time in "Emperor Time." He also has moves that restore his health. I do think the health draining when a member of the Phantom Troupe isn't actually on the field is unnecessary. Right now, it drains from the start as long as the Troupe member is on the team, no matter if they're actively being played or not.
I get that they want to keep the lore, but if you follow the lore then he's supposed to die instantly rather than get injured anyway lol. May as well just ignore it and do what you need to do to make the game play good.
@7hammerkirby this is actually not true. Emperor time in the manga was explained to have a side effect. Kurapika loses lifespan anytime he's in emperor time/scarlet eyes. Has nothing to do with the phantom troupe

Assuming that Kurapika’s Scarlet Eyes only activate when there is a Troupe member on the other team. Since there are 16 characters, and 4 of theme are Troupe members, that means that out of all possible teams you could construct, 60.71% of them will have at least one Troupe member. So Kurapika will have his Scarlet Eyes more often than not.
This looks like a really well made mod for fighterZ but that’s not really a bad thing. The models don’t looks too bad but the animations and info display things need some work imo
I had the chance to play this game because they had booths for it at anime expo, in all honesty it could be fun but the auto combos are so strong that it makes it feel like theirs no point in picking new characters or learning their ultility and movesets, the game handles to much for you. and it makes the skill cap feel really low, the game feels good to play tho.
I think skill ceiling is quite high actually, but auto combos are super strong at beginner levels for sure. High level I doubt auto combo will be used too heavily
What I enjoyed most is someone unfamiliar with HxH thoroughly enjoyed this game and gameplay. Also, Hisouka's pink goo is Bungie Gum. Fun fact: Bungie Gum possessed the properties of both rubber and gum.
in refrence to what diaphone said about the graphics potentially be a turn off for casuals: The complaints i hear constantly about the game are the graphics, ya it doesnt look amazing but its really not that bad to me?
As soon as I saw you raise the controller up to the camera and show the trigger button I knew what was up but I didn't think it was the whole time lmaooo
Cloud has mainly played Fighterz through out its whole life span and MVC3 before that so I assume this will be his next main game, no wonder he put the most time
The game look fun and has me very curious to play it i hope it popular when it comes out but i know because of it looks that will probably cause issues become everyone mostly care for looks now and days
My only problem with this game is that it is stuck in a void from the 2011 hunter hunter series. Theres not much to add and I feel like it just won’t scratch that itch
Diaphone, did anybody figure out what Kurapika's signature ability is? We all noticed that he was losing health but if he's a character like that then he must come with something kind of op to back it up. Did anybody figure out what that was?
I love HxH, but man this game looks ROUGH. We have Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear which are both just gorgeous anime fighters that will stand the test of time. This game looks 10 years old already.
"Leorio-san" Hunter x Hunter being my fav anime, im annoyed he mispronouncing Leorio's & Uvogin's names., as im nitpicking. I dont think he watched the anime, since he didnt know Hisoka's Nen ability.
How do people not get that Fighting games dont bring huge profits, an IPs like HXH is iffy at most if itll bring in enough eyes to cause the game to make a good enough profit. So since these are the factors developers are given less money to develop the game causing graphics to look bad an end up having the game die due to not enough players in the long run.
Is it just me or is one of the auto combos lookin like it not even connecting the throw guy auto combo look like it not even connecting probably he like grabbing the air and pull his arm backwards but the opponent stay in front 20:20 is what im talking about You don't have to go that far into the video but it just where i decide to edit this comment
@@Brutalmoon Climbed to celestial in GGST, around Fujin in Tekken 8, have played older games like SF4 and MVC3 but a lot younger and didn’t play for competitive. This game looks like ass with some good mechanical feel
