I've watched several of the "start a homestead in 2022" videos and your video has had the best practical advice so far. You did an excellent job presenting practical philosophies that I think would be very useful guidelines to some one first starting out. Thank you!
hi! i am 16(almost 17) and i am in the process of thinking about my future. my parents have had chickens and rabbits and gardens for most of my childhood. so im pretty used to this kind of thing(actually helping dad de-feather the chickens to be cooked was my job haha. oh the curse of the eldest child!) i wasnt that interested when i was younger so im still in need of research and stuff. i j wanted to say thank u for uploading this video. im going to drag my city girl best friend along with this journey:) im prob pretty late but congrats on the baby!
That’s great you are thinking about your future now 😊 It’s a very rewarding lifestyle. I wish you the best on your journey. 😊 And thank you! She is now 8 weeks old ❤️
Great job on the video! I love how you reminded us to only grow what yet eat! So true and such good advice! Love the advice too of using your animals to regenerate your land!
Hey Megan! I was doing some research and was delighted to come across your videos! Mike and I have moved out to Coker Creek and have our own homestead and we love it. Where did y’all buy property?
I'm here from the collab. Lovely job on the video! I grow kale, but not so much to eat. My family won't touch the stuff! I do dehydrate and powder some for adding to sauces (sneaky Momma!) or green veg powders, but mostly for my hens. They love it!
