Just saw her in Toronto and the show was amazing, but very short. Her stage presence is amazing and I'm expecting big things from this one. That said, she has one album out and apologized about how short her set was. I hardly think 'legend' is the appropriate description this early in her career. She is an "incoming legend".

Heard it yesterday. It’s brilliant! The blue video is so spot on in communicating the vibe. When I’m listening to the song I actually tune into the depth that it goes and the lightness at the same time.

She didn't mention that the original or French version of this had Cripple as the title but when she performed to a natively English speaking audience and saw their uncomfortable faces as she sang the song, she rethought it the main hook lyrics.

Interesting she doesn`t mention the original version of the song Tilted, which was called Cripple and was released in France in 2012. While I think Héloïse in Christine and the Queens is great and the new lyrics are heads and shoulders above her ORIGINAL lyrics for the SAME song back in 2011. When asked about WRITING the song, as a songwriter, I would have owned-up to its LONG process and its unfortunate first title and chorus. "Cripple".

I still don't get it what's creepy about putting make up on your face women do it every day practically I thought she was going to say that she was a boy in a women's body something like that just goes to show what you think some one is saying is quite the opposite well its a weird eye opener I still like the song and dance that is what unique about it is that dance its brilliant I still can't stop watching it here I go again see ya after the song perhaps!

Yes, listen to CRIPPLE (2012) ~ It's basically the same tune, different arrangement and different words. Christine states "I actually enjoy being a cripple" ~ have a listen it is on RU-vid!

Cripple came first, she then adapted it into a new song called "christine" so her french fans could understand. Then adapted christine into "tilted" for her english fans as she realised cripple was unacceptable in the UK. All 3 songs have the same meaning (being out of place and not fitting in) but said in a different way :)

She's French, but her dad was an English teacher who constantly had BBC channels on tv at home, so she grew up listening to the English language spoken with British accents. It's kinda endearing.
