As a musician who frequently plays in augmented time signatures, I absolutely *adore* that first level. Although I think that some sections were perhaps more intuitive in terms of conveying the odd rhythmic groove of 7/8, the majority of them did so rather excellently. Such a cool level concept! An exercise in music theory in Mario Maker - whodathunkit?? (I actually bookmarked this video as a reference should I ever decide to make a level with a similar theme! I'm glad you seemed to loved the concept of the level just as me as me ❤)
For those curious, it takes 14 charged up cannon shots to defeat big Meowser. Ryukahr is correct, each cannon shot deals 3 points of damage. Meowser has 40 HP. A fireball from a fire flower delivers 1 point of damage, so 40 fireballs are needed to defeat him.
I feel that the charged up cannon shot's rate of fire is too slow though. You can shoot at least 6-7 Fireballs to a Meowser (if you are close enough) at the time it takes one cannonball to charge up.
Either something went wrong in editing or Ryu just intentionally cut out a big chunk of this video, because before the Team Shite level he had 23 lives on the end of that new soup level. Then on the start of the TS level he had suddenly only 3 lives after a Hail Mary that he also cut out or forgot to include in the final edit. Weird. Ryu never edited out this much content no matter how embarrassing fails he made. Maybe Yoshi ate the missing parts as a revenge? 🤣
@@deheavon6670 Might be a simpler explanation, like saved for another video (like the one with 10 unreleased levels) or it was flat out boring content.
11:17 the fact that you didn't told or show us you lost so many lifes made me think you actually knew how to do this level real well until I look at the top left corner and notice the life counter is gone
