I'm a north Indian living in odisha since birth. The natives of odisha won't tolerate you if they come to know that you are a Hindi speaker or an outsider living in odisha. They would simply ignore you if they come to know about you. Even the police officers harrass outsiders who are just doing their own business like vegetable sellers, small pan shops and all. Once I was riding my scooty and an inspector caught me on the road. It was ok when he filed a challan against me because I was not wearing helmet at that time.He started cursing me with cuss words based on my mother when he came to know that I'm speaking hindi. I felt very bad at that time but now I think I could have recorded a video of him at that time.
