Thanks for covering this wonderful fruit tree and usage. it gives lot and needs very minimal water. You covered most of this tree benefits. I am from south part of India "Tamil Nadu". In my farm we used to have more than 100 trees..30 years back...now we have barely 5 trees.. My parents cut the tree for baseless reason. i could not able to fight.. Waiting to get my chance to own the land that time i will grow...Don't understand why our parents don't see the nature is nature.. If no rain they blame everyone
Thank you for sharing your story. It's sad to hear about the loss of those trees, but your determination to regrow them is inspiring. I believe you'll bring them back to life when you own the land. Nature needs more people like you. Best of luck!

It's so confusing clip at all !!. They mixed a clip from Thailand with an Indian clip, but said that it was all Indian. When they boiled the palm sugar water to make palm sugar the light brown sugar color and used clean-looking pans, this is Thailand. In India, the sugar is very dark brown color and they use old pans, and the method of making it is not very clean. Also, when they peeled the palm fruit that was like jelly and fresh sugar, and used the yellow stringy shell filling to knead and crush to get yellow liquid and make it into pastries like stream cake, this is Thai people doing it, and it was a clip that Mark Weens filmed in Thailand, not India. For those who don't know, Indians tend to have dark skin, wear old clothes, and women wear many bracelets on their wrists. Thais tend to have fairer skin, look cleaner, and their clothes are cleaner and not old or dirty. They wear normal T-shirts without any accessories.

I saw the men in this hard work profession were vanished day to day. If we not save them, no man will be available for climbing palm tree in some years. We must think about palm trees. Because it's not only gives fruits, but also protect thunder & save environments.
You're absolutely right! It's crucial to preserve this profession before it disappears. Palm trees give us so much, from fruit to environmental benefits. How do you think we can encourage more people to continue this important work?

It's definitely worth a try, Ron! Breadfruit can be used in many ways, similar to potatoes. What kinds of new fruits or vegetables are you interested in exploring in your kitchen?

Most of these products are available through local distributors and sometimes directly from the farms. Are you looking to order for personal use or for business purposes?
its not dangerous because of the height, the primary enemies are critters lying inside the dried palm leaf stems and the sharp tooth of the edge of the leaf stems.
That’s really interesting! I had no idea the main challenge came from the critters inside the palm leaf stems. Have you ever encountered any while harvesting, or is there a specific method to avoid them?
