To put this beautiful and complex thing within the reach of the amateur fumbler is miraculous. Your face and voice are among the few I can welcome first thing in the morning. Hands up everyone else who is in love with Sandra!
Greetings from Australia. A humble hint or suggestion if I may. Sandra's fingerings and movement from one chord to the next are so well thought out and masterful that I VERY STRONGLY recommend not only getting her tabs & Guitar Pro lessons but ALSO watching her videos at SLOW speed. Pay particular attention to how her left hand fingers move. I guarantee that it is fundamental to making the chord changes easier. It takes time but is well worth the effort. I've been playing rock and blues for over 50 years and teaching for over 28 and she does things I never would have thought of doing. Thank you so much Sandra, from one of your devoted jazz bees !!!!
Thanks Ken! Great tip. Indeed it makes a difference, if you focus on what and how to transition from one chord to the next. When I practice my own arrangements I also pay attention to this in particular.
I love your chord melodies, they are truly "incorporated" and not just melody lines with chord stabs. This is very rich with lots of room to move if one so desired... Thank You! 😎
HI Guitarversum I love your Bossa Nova chord melody tutorials, Wave, Blue Bossa, Girl From Impanema, Insensatez; I concentrate my jazz studies on Bossa Nova and gypsy jazz. Your tutorial on minor swing melody and solo has help me tremendously with my soloing chops. Thank so much for being a wonderful and inspiring teacher of the arts.
I like to sing this in Bm. So I lower your arrangment down to begin on Fret 7. It works great as I can play an instrmental arrangment as a break in the song. I also love your arrangment in Dm as well. It's great to be able to experiment with the two keys. Keep up your wonderful work.
Thank you so much!!! So chopin prelude 4 in e minor!!! Any soloing video on this in future? You already know for sure' but again, you are the best jazz guitar teacher in the whole world!!
Thank you Sandra for posting these wonderful tune that I've been trying to discover on how to play for so many years. God bless you for sharing your talent to us...wannabees!

I'm really enjoying your channel. You are a great teacher ! Thank You I really like the song , So Nice , it's either a Bossa or a Somba, but I just started watching your channel and videos about a week ago. I thank my lucky stars, that I'm familiar with the chords. I can't wait to dive in deeper. So much to learn. It's going to be fun.
Hi Sandra.. so glad you posted this video. I had this song in my repertoire but after not playing it for so long I forgot it. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS MASTERPIECE!!! By the way Antonio Carlos Jobim wrote this piece... along with WAVE, CORCOVADO, ONCE I LOVED, GIRL FROM IPANEMA, MEDITATION, TRISTE.. I think... and so many more beautiful Bossa Nova pieces. I love your touch on this one Sandra, "EXCELLENT PRESENTATION"👍
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman I truly appreciate that Sandra.. I have Girl from Ipanema corcovado and once I loved under my fingertips pretty good but if you could do a video on Meditation and Desifiado that would be perfect. I would be forever in your debt!!! Thanks.🥂
I’ve always loved this tune. Your version is incredible... and the tutorial very well explained and easy to follow. Even though the tune in itself is pretty advanced, I was able to learn it thanks to your tutorial. 👍👍👍👍
Guitarversum Sandra Sherman you too. thank you. I got this one down now. all in my head. I always had trouble with this one for some reason. i can play Ipanema and One note samba already. just for some reason couldn’t play this one. you really showed where it lies well on the neck. i’ll check out some of your others tuts in a day or 2
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman I’m almost thru the first phase. Thank you so much for sharing it’s one of the most profound songs I’ve ever heard! I never thought I could learn it as there’s so many variations but you are right just break it down into chunks. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to the guitar community
I love you yours chord melody ,can you handle the melody of chords? russian song black eyes, i don't know what i would have learned without your videos !!
wow, i have the fake book version and it sounds nothing like the original. sandra you are fantastic, and is was a beautiful chord melody arrangement , thanks.
Greetings from the Netherlands. What a great teacher you are and it seems to me with an endless patience. A special request because that song touches me so much "Everbody's got to learn sometime" Curious about your expression of this, Eric
Ha, my Dad was born in Holland (Haarlem), but my I can't speak dutch. I can fake it pretty good, though. I see it as a weird german dialect with a lot of cchhhrs in there 😁. About the tune. I haven't heard it yet. Gotta have to check it out.
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman Dear Sandra, apparently there is more than strings that connect us. How wonderful your music is.Please don't be in a hurry Sandra and you are right with our German dialect with gggggg, ha, ha
dont ever delete your site, im going to be buying a bunch of your chord melodies with my nect paycheck!!! i need them, for years i tried to make a chord melody for this song and couldnt do so too well, on piano its a lot of simpler.
Agree. Sandra has an amazing personality as a teacher which is inclusive as opposed to just talking theory and expecting the student to know everything she is saying...I follow Rick Beato and love his theory knowledge, but Sandra in my view is a much better teacher because of the way she delivers her content...👍🎸🎶🎵🎼
How sweet of you Sandra; but then its no surprise, your kind and helpful nature shines throughout your lessons; that's why we love you 😀, oh and there's also the fact that you are a fabulous jazz tutor...I nearly left that bit out... see what I mean about insensitive 🙄☺️
Great video as usual - thanks for posting. I usually try and look at a few arrangements and take what I like best out of each - yours always throw something up I particularly like (I already posted Over The Rainbow on my channel which I based mostly on your arrangement. keep up the good work!
Great lesson for a great song, Sandra! I remember when I first learned this years ago, ...thinking, my God how long is this chord sequence!? Hehe. Well done👍😄. Be well!
Hi Guifo, I don't have a course you could be enrolled to. Do you mean the RU-vid membership? It's there to help the producing more videos. Plus you have 130 Mini Lessons there. But it does of course, not include all the Tabs for my regular lessons.
Sandra -- Your lessons are very good. Especially like your arrangement of How Insensitive. I recently acquired a 1997 Howard Roberts Fusion III. I want to re-string it with flat wounds. On my ES-175, I have Thomastik Infeld JS113, which are .013 - .053. Would you recommend this gauge for the Fusion, or go lighter? Many thanks for all that you do.
Looky, I have a video up where I show my equipment and give gear advice. It's called "Jazz Guitar Gear Recommendations and amp settings": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--6Tylw4gf0E.html Enjoy the jazz ride!
There are also 24 Freddie King instrumentals spanning the albums Let's Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddie King and Freddie King Brings You A Bonanza of instrumentals. These are as important as the Paganini caprices. More so, possibly.
Dear Sandra. I would like to buy your lesson pack. I have choosen the paying via paying card possibility. But the Pay Pal site still requires the account creating. But I do not agree with Pay Pal conditions. Are there any other possibilities to pay your materials? Regard, Martin
