@@hotsexyangel actually you still have to do engagement, lives, comments and more. Yes, you can time it but in the long term if you count you're almost 24/7 on the app and it becomes tedious

The recency part gets to me. Almost like anything even slightly old will fall into the forgotten abyss. As an artist tons of hours go into a single image so that kinda sucks...

Yeah but you can create a dozen or so images out of that one piece. Post progress photos. Post it started. Half done. Almost done. Fully done. Post it fully done hanging on the wall, make prints and post the prints. Post someone holding a print etc

But you forgot to say that if you like, follow or post too often instagram can ban you for at least a week without any warning for 'spamming' or 'using a service to increase followers'.

Yes but that only happens if you like over 500 posts in an hour or follow or unfollow 500 ppl in an hour. It’s unlikely you’ll ever do that so don’t worry about that too much.
