Your videos are so informative, no bullshit and just straight to the point. Make more videos, it helps us a lot who are not much exposed to research side.

I applied for a clinical research role and got selected for an interview. Hi there! I recently started following you on youtube. I want some advice can you please tell me how lengthy is Mcmaster’s applied clinical research programme is as I am planning to take their spring/summer programme but I am also prepping for Mccqe1. Will it be doable for me is it too lengthy or not?
@@thebrownfeministcanada thank you so much and what programme do you suggest one which offers 3 months internships at the end of the course like offered by york university or this one by Mcmaster’s?
Both hold a lot if value. It depends how much you do in these roles - some medical clinics and practises allow IMG/clinic assistant to do a lot of patient care/assessments/ordering diagnostics while getting sign offs from the physician. That is great. However, research roles benefit more if you want to do a master's and want to show the residency board you have a local Masters here, research experience, as well as patient facing experience. I would do both if I were you. Try two part time roles?

It is challenging to be sponsored here on work visa for clinical research jobs. Better to come here for a masters, then u can get work permit more easily and then PR
Nice video maam, I've been watching some of your videos. Very beneficial video. I am an international educated nurse and would love to contact you about career mentoring because im very interested in clinical research.
Hi Brown Feminist Ive been watching your videos since I have been afforded an oppurtunity by a local recruitment agency that seems legitimate with a good track record. I am a MBBS doctor and they wanted just the MBBS degree and three years work experience. The job they offer is in the field of Research and Development which is little vague, but I am under the assumption that since they are specifically looking for MBBS doctors that it might be Clinical Research. The locale is province of Ontario. Do you have any idea about it? I am presuming this is what you are explaining in the video? It would be much appreciated if I could get your opinion before taking the leap of faith. Thank you.
Great work! Hi Doctor I am Indian citizen graduated from Ukraine, but I was unable to complete Internship in either country nor do I have license. I am positive for canada, can I come as researcher and then clear license exams to work as doctor? Your response will be highly appreciated. *If yes what I can do in my country to increase the chance if getting hired as researcher in canada.
Hi, so I am a Caribbean IMG from Canada but never took my MCCQE1 or Nac. Do you think it would help in getting a research job or just generally other non-clinical careers?
I am curious too as I a Canadian IMG but its hard to find clinical work in my province. I did a course but so far I don't know how to search for basic level research. When I look at jobs a lot of them are in Ontario which is also a barrier. The journey we all go through is so hard.
Hey Brown Feminist. I am a pharm D graduate from India and was thinking of pursuing PG Diploma in Clinical Research from Canada. Is it a good choice to secure a job there? And moreover, after entry-level positions, to work as an associate or assistant does an international immigrant appear for an exam for the same? Awaiting your response Thank you
