Do the symptoms have to be consistently intense or visible all the time or can they become less intense and nearly absent for a specific short period of time depending on the mood (happiness)? And can some vitamin or mineral deficiency create all the adhd symptoms without having adhd?
Symptoms have to be fairly consistent, but can get more/less intense based on things like mood, sleep quality, stress, etc. Severe nutrition deficits can make attention difficulties worse, but I've never encountered anything like that from clinical practice or in the research where a vitamin/mineral deficit creates all the symptoms of ADHD.
