Hi Filip, could you send a screenshot or timestamp of the video you are referring to and email us at hello@worktoplibrary.co.uk? We will review it in depth and get back to you.
Hi Nurul, if you are installing a Dekton countertop the minimum recommended thickness is 12mm. You can use the off cut in strips from the top surface and mitre the front edge following the vein for maximum aesthetic impact. It isn't necessary to use more expensive 20mm or 30mm slabs as once the front edge is in place you can build it up to your desired thickness and nobody can see the stone's thickness behind it. I hope this is helpful. Feel to contact us at hello@worktoplibrary.co.uk if you require more information about how to apply mitred edging to Dekton 🪚
nice video, sorry to say but the installers of my kitchen didn't do that at all , result my tablet is broken after 2 years . My foult they say, so no waranty
Hi Michael, we're sorry to hear about the issue. Stone worktops can break when there's insufficient support or too much weight in one spot. Sometimes, people may stand on them during home projects without realizing it. You can email us at hello@worktoplibrary.co.uk with a few photos of your issue for expert advice from our stone worktop specialists.
My dekton countertops are beautiful and the most complimented thing in my new kitchen. If it fits the design it will work. Ugly granite or marble or quartz can look awful too. My inlaws multi million dollar mini mansion has the ugliest counters ever and they are supposedly the height if design, quality, and luxury. Look awful in my opinion. Good thing there sre choices for every style.
