In this video, Dr Tabish Saifee explains how the diagnosis of essential tremor is made, using the combination of three things; the patient story, patient examination, and diagnostic tests.
The patient story and examination are often regarded to be most useful, but in some cases, diagnostic tests such as imaging and blood tests may be employed to rule out other causes.
