Oh definitely, I think honestly they could do any style of music. The way that they compose their music is top tier for me and to be that consistent with it is amazing

I don't remember where I heard this from but supposedly, "New World" was a group name choice for Ateez. The fact that they had a song with that name and the fact that they teased 'Sector 1' two years prior at the end of Answer is kinda amazing, if you ask me. I mean Hongjoong said that they haven't even done half of the storyline yet. Makes you wonder how much they actually had prepared already. Regarding Ateez's albums, I think that they really do a good job distinguishing the different eras with the way they decide what songs to put together in an album. The albums, themselves, tell a story. It's not just, 'Oh, we wrote this song and it sounds good so we're going to put it in this album this time'. They're able to show different sides of them but still have all the songs mesh in a way. Now that you've listened to the album, I'm so excited for you. The concert is going to be amazing!!
I was so sure Cyberpunk would be my fave off this album but once I heard The Ring in full it was absolutely game over for me, particularly Jongho's first 'I'm not okaaaay', literally CHEFS KISS, as is this entire album! 🤌🤌I love how it was so cohesive to the point where it's a crime to listen to one track without the rest. this entire album is such a cinematic and hype experience. Everything from the lyricism to the production and vocals went so hard. I need New World or WDIG in a dystopian cyberpunk film immediately
Hahaa true. New world has been a repeat for me, it’s definitely more atmospheric and the build up feeling it has is soooo good and it seems to be a lot of peoples favorite too
Have to agree with you that songs like The Ring aren't usually my speed, but ATEEZ still managed to knock me to my knees with that one! My favorite though is definitely New World. I ASCENDED. I'm weak for grand-sounding songs like that ;u; (Also, just a bit of info I feel the need to tell everyone because this boy just doesn't ever MISS with the little details. If you look at all the capital letters in Mingi's rap in The Ring, it spells out ATEEZ. The lyric video you chose didn't highlight it very well in the English translation, but if you look at the Korean lyrics above it you can see it.)
Ah thanks for letting me know!! Yeah I can never talk enough about their song writing and composition, it’s always the best for me and I love it. This whole album definitely had a different feel than what I’ve heard so far but still had their touch to it and that’s always a major thing with them, they could do any style and make it their own.
tbh, im so worried that i wont like the album when i watch the highlight medley cuz the sound of this whole album generally was not my type at all... but damn, ateez WILL ALWAYS AND ONLY produce bops, and now this album is one of my fav album in the whole kpop industry 😌
This album is just..... different!! It's so unique like it's not similar at all to any of their other albums!! I really love how they tried something new in that album and that's one of the reasons why I love ATEEZ so much they always give us something new and unique that we never saw before from them so we can never get tired of their music!! Stan ATEEZ for a better life
