#bts #kpop #reaction There are only a few select artists that sound as good live as they do on a record... Jung Kook might have the best live voice EVER! #army
I think I have to agree with you. If you played me the tracks without a screen, I don't think I would be able to tell which one was the live and which one was recorded.
@@LouThunderBombI can tell easily😭 His live voice is full of emotion that doesn't show clearly in recordings That's why I love listening to his live performances💜
His live singing makes me stan him. I vividly remembered the first time I heard him singing 'saranghe' in his vlive.. that's the moment I became his fan. His raw voice sounds so beautiful and melodious that makes me want to hear more and more.
I'm not really an emotional guy but you are right, I got chills and goosebumps a couple of times during both the live performance and the original video.
That's the whole reason for iHeartRadio live performances they don't allow lip syncing. Certain songs may have a backing track but the mics are always live and they're always singing. He also did an iHeartRadio live of standing next to you
I'm going to check out the rest of that set, thanks Addison. I've been programmed by western music to always suspect artists are lip synching when holding live concerts, unfortunately it happens so much in NA. It always refreshing to be able to tell right away that someone is actually singing in a live performance, especially when they sound as great as JK.
@@LouThunderBomb He also does a mini concert on Audacy Live where he is performing live as well. It's excellent but I would recommend getting that from the official BTS channel or BangtanTV, I don't remember which at the moment rather than the Audacy channel where you might get copyrighted or blocked.
JK has perfect vocal pitch. So even though the harmonies are pre-recorded (backing vocals) JK is singing the main line among the harmonies but it sounds just like the recording. JK had a iHeartRadio album release party for “Golden”. This is one of the songs he sang. He sang SNTY live too and it really showcases his vocals. The Jimmy Fallon live performance showcases his dance and vocals.
@@LouThunderBomb Write these words in GOOGLE, then open " Best kpop VOTE Categories", Then you'll see different categories, some of them are already closed. Find SOLO ALBUMS and then find GOLDEN by Jungkook. Also you can vote further for BTS in Best GROUP
I know...right? I'm just a new comer to BTS and now they're all doing military service. I've loved what I've seen so far. These guys are amazing, as a group and as solo artists. JK's album Golden, lives up to it's name...every song shines.
Lou, Jung Kook as BTS' main vocalist, performed all the back vocals on the group's songs in the past. In some of GOLDEN's songs, he sings wonderfully well and I think he relaxes a little because the back vocals are his own. In almost every song he has another voice that is his own. And in some others like "SOMEBODY", which I actually love, he sings without it. I believe "Closer" too.
Funny story time: The company asked Suga, his band mate in BTS, to stop using Jungkook to sing guide tracks for songs Suga was writing and producing for other artists. It was something he had always done, have his little brother record them, because it was easy and convenient. They would see each other all the time, their relationship was so close it was very comfortable and a habit to ask him, Jungkook was happy to help and just loves to sing, and he is so good, and has perfect pitch, that he could often lay them down quickly in one take. But the company told Suga that JK was too good and it intimidated the artists who the song was for. LOL
If you think this is good, you should watch it, “Seven” and “Standing Next to You” in VR. It’s literally like he’s giving you a personal, up close concert.
Jungkook's worked hard to take the talents he was born with to their highest level. The surprise here is he isn't yet satisfied with his ability as a performer. JK is a perfectionist and will always question if there was something lacking in the performance he just finished. Though we think he's perfect, he is actually improving in real time. I attribute this to his finally being able to work with Western producers, artists and trying new genre. All allow him to perfect the Western "sound" he seeks to master. His ambition paid off because the album, Golden, is a masterpiece, completely in English.
@@CR0WN--nv3yb I think I will, prolly better for me to release the songs from the concert as individual videos though, I don't think I would get many people watching an hour long video of my boring ass lol
@@LouThunderBomb that is true, if u r doing it i would suggest dividing it in parts because between the songs he has some very nice fan interactions which ig kinda also show his type of personality which is kinda nice to watch if you're going to watch the concert at some point in time.(just my thoughts)
BTS vocal line are 4 star vocalists. Jungkook is their lead vocalist. In the early days he sang All the guides they followed. Producers consider him a genius. Jungkook said he did the Golden album quickly. He layed a track a day in roughly 3 hours then cleaned a few bits up the next day on some of the tracks. If any member of BTS is ill JK can fill in their solo. His ad libs are brilliant. He had the least vocal training as he said he was concerned about individuality being trained out of his voice so he practiced alone. RM said that was fine because he was a genius he could do that. It should be noted that Jungkook did not rush to capitalise on the success of Golden. The majority of his performances were free to fans either as tv performances, on utube or free performances like the pop up concert in Times Square.
Honestly, I didn't even think about doing any of the other live performances from that concert...I'm dumb lol. Thanks for telling me, I will for sure do it now.
I think he may have pre-recorded some things so we won't miss so, so much! Yes, it is a shame that right when he makes it big he has to enlist, but that was his choice in order to be there as a group in 2025 with his other BTS members. For iHeart, he also performed Seven and Standing Next to You Live. Both done quite well. He is amazing, for sure!
Jungkook is the artist who can perfectly put emotions in the songs he sings. He is just so talented and can sing all the songs in his album anytime, anywhere...no problem. Unlike other singers who can just do studio versions but don't give their own songs justice when singing live. You should watch his Weverse live when he sang the songs from his album live while sitting down in his home. His raw vocals are just effortlessly beautiful.
I hope to see more videos of you reacting to BTS (solo or group) live performances. I think you might enjoy vocals in their group song "Your Eyes Tell" and I'm very curious what would you think of live performance of "Letter" by Jimin.
Hi Karolina! I will definitely be doing more live performance reactions. I'm going to do the live performance ones after I see the official MV so I can make a comparison :) I think the next solo video I have coming out is for Suga/AgustD
They always sound better live compared to their studio versions that's because they are used to singing live and doing it while dancing. I've heard them all sing live.
That's awesome. I look forward to watching all their live performances. I hope the rappers sound good live, the one thing about rap in the west is they always sound terrible live compared to when they record.
@@LouThunderBomb The Rappers are brilliant. Two were part of the South Korean underground Hip Hop scene as Rappers of which one was also Producing and selling his beats at the time and the 3rd Rapper was a part of the same scene as a dancer. He quickly learnt to Rap listening to the other's battle Rapping and slowly joining in and writing his own raps. Developing his own style.
mannn... when it comes to bts, the live is always better than the recording, and the recording is already perfect. it's just the vibes. the imperfections (which are few) bring so much life to the live
Ahahaha, love that you stated that your compliment came from a heterosexual man. 💜🤣 Sometimes Jungkook not only sounds beautiful but also looks beautiful too. Have to warn you first. 😉
All the BTS members, both individually and as a group, are even better live. They all seem to be born performers! So I encourage you to check out some live BTS stages. With them not coming back until 2025, you may just have time to catch up on their 10 years worth of material…LOL, good luck and enjoy. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hi Kathy, I definitely will. I'm trying to pace it so I watch the official MV first and then the live performance after. I've been slacking though lol.
Yes we're all sad they're gone for a while but you got 10 years worth of discography where you can hear him sing and the others as well. Why did you feel the need to clarify your sexuality? Firstly, nobody cares secondly, recognizing a beautiful voice and saying so has nothing to do with your sexuality.
It probably sucks for people like you who only discover JK and BTS in general just as they enlisted. I found them just when they announced that they were preparing to take a break from full group work while they prepare things for us before they enlist. I thought that was bad but this must really suck. The silver lining is that now you have endless stuff to discover for the next 1.5 years. You would have to be inhuman to go through enough content to run out. Even I haven't seen everything lol.
Honestly at first I did think that way but then ARMY helped me realize that this will give me enough time to go back through all of their catalogue and enjoy it by the time they come back in 2025 :)
FYI, BTS always sing live. They are known for it, They are so good live, often better than recoding even while dancing complex choreography, that they were accused of lip synching, though it’s easy to tell they are not. It was mostly just hater talk. So sometimes they leave random lines in a song unfinished to show their mics are hot.
