@@Daniel-ld7xs don't know but I'm not spending nitecore type money on a light. But if you got the cash to spend do it since we only have one life to live bro
My brother says he has used his P30 on anti-drug operations on the Mexico border. They use thermal to spot and then super bright search lights to stun and identify. Now I want the P30i
That moment when you accidentally light up a whole city, trying to look under a bridge lol seriously though, that beam lit up the building behind the bridge too! Awesome video. Very professionally made. You certainly know your stuff. Thanks for sharing!
I love your presentation bro! I've been a fan of nitecore for some time now. But when I discovered this channel I became fully hooked! I'm pretty sure it's cuz of your epic accent. Please keep em coming 🤙🏾
Excellent video, and reviews! Finally, we get to see the beautiful sceneries of Singapore. All your videos from now on should include all the nature sceneries around Singapore. You should also review a light or two while you’re out camping, out on a bike ride, or just hanging out with your friends. I’m also trying to decide between the MH25S or this P30i. 🤔
If you pair, MH25S with headlamp with flood beam you have an awesome outdoor set. P30i is very cool thrower and gadget but it is havier and hard to keep in pocket when you dont need it. Also the question could be: how do you travel? If you are for example in to boat trips, 4x4 offroad car adventures or quad/motorcycle trips, you probably will find a place and power to bring P30i with you. But if you are going on foot/bicycle where you count every oz I would go with smaller one. Both are very bright.
Nitecore really the trusted light source . when Nitecore will come out the factory emergency light , projector car headlight . i just cant wait to install one on my car .
I'm a sucker for flashlight but unfortunately there are a wide variety of range out there for me to choose that i am at a total lost. The first time i saw this video on Facebook, i was like "Damn! I need to get one of those." and so i jump in the bandwagon and just only purchased this Nitecore P30i after much consideration. Thank you for the detailed explanation on this badass.
i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Tyson Jayden thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I like it and what a deal! Instead of being in town where it's all lit up everywhere I'd like to see that out in the dark country shine on things faraway.
Lately I got MH25S and it is truely great allaround long throw light. I was thinking about P30i. For me the smaller one was more convinient. I use it while backpacking when I am looking for a trail marker on trees. However, if I was working in search and rescue the P30I is THE light to go with. :)
One point to clarify before embarking on it. The battery of P30i (NL2150HPi) is compatible with other models but regular 21700 batteries are not compatible with the P30i. Even high current NL2150HP's are not compatible. It can only work on 2150HPi and 2 × CR123(RCR123)...
@@NitecoreSG Proprietary Nitecore batteries that the lights are locked to use, is a deal breaker. Nitecore is going to lose flashlight sales in a bid to promote their own batteries.
Just ordered 2 more. Hate your awesome vids! Lol they are so informative and clear, concise, to the point. Love the strong beam and longer throw 350+. P20i and p30i. Best in class. Thank u! I just wonder how long to get to me from singapore to pa,usa.
For me the SRT7 is perfect , infinity adjustable brightness- good throw with really bright beam and red green and blue output to save your night vision !! Love it
it is good to put a face ton the brand. good demonstration of your great torches. i am sold after watching this video, ordering a P30i right now (£188 UK GBP)
Awesome light my friend. Why don't you guys make a "Kydex" type holder for it? Something tactical. Ambidextrous. Friction hold. Angled at 45 degrees. With a slot to be able to leave the NTR10 on at all times. Your designers can easily figure this out :-) Cheers
Best flooder on the market right now in my opinion is the Thrunite TN36 Limited. 11,000 lumens and will sustain that for 10 minutes. Or will continously sustain 8,000 lumens.
From the manual: "DO NOT submerge the light into any liquid when it is hot. Doing so may cause irreparable damage to the light due to the difference of air pressure inside and outside of the tube." Is it a general warning or does it have to do something specifically with this light? Well, I checked the manuals for MH12v2, MH12S, MH25S no mention of it. But those I checked that use the i series batteries have the same warning in the manual. Such as, P20i, P20iX, P30i, i4000R...
I just got one of these and I dunno how I feel about it... I feel like I got a dud. There's a dead/cold spot in the middle of the beam. It's subtle but, I noticed it. Watching your video, I can see the same dead spot so, I guess it's designed this way? I tested it at 120 yards and honestly, wasn't that impressed. Compared it to my Olight Warrior X3 (560 meter max throw) and there was barely any difference at that range. For those of you considering this light, I think I would look elsewhere for a long range thrower...
Hey there, can I make you a question? The manual of the P30i says that I must lubricate the back part that can be unscrewed to let you take out the battery. But I have a doubt, can I use liquid petroleum jelly to lubricate those rings or not? Thank you in advance. I loved the review btw, the reason why I bought this sexy bad girl
Just bought the new p30 about a month before the p30i came out. If I had it to do over again I'd have gotten the p30i instead. Could you do a comparison between the new p30 and the p30i?
Not satisfied with this one. The first dissapointment for me with Nitecore over the years. - No tactical mode for such a powerful flashlight. - No strobe without the tail remote switch thingy. - Complicated UI. - Battery insert voltage level notification NOT WORKING. What heck man? - What else? Well, no lanyard holes??? This flashlight is definitely not tactical and I know it's not even advertised as tactical. Though I had some hope... Yet it definitely looks like it was designed more for a rifle mount than human hand carry. I want my flashlights to always power on at the most powerful level. I also want to be able to do the same with strobe. You cannot do any of it with this light. I usually thread paracords through my flashlights' lanyard holes and it really feels solid in the hand that way. It also comes handy (or necky) when I'm on a motorcycle :) It's not possible either. I think I'll get rid of this one and try the P20iX. The MH25S has strong enough long distance throw for my part anyways.
Well considering this is more geared toward tactical it is not bad but not that great either. Mind you my reason is not the quality of Nitecore. If you choose to use this as a edc the flashlight has 3 problems. Cooling, runtime and button placement. I have this and the Thrunite Catapult V6 Pro and I tend to go with the Thrunite because at turbo it runs cooler and side by side the Pro has a better throw. Size wise the Pro is smaller. But as I said it is more driven for tactical then edc so it is will be lite and durable for gun mounting.
sir where can i buy nitecore p30i because in amazon saudi arabia no availble but it can be deliver do you think it is original if i buy in amazon them ship to saudi arabia?..please need your answer
Hello NC team, Any recommendations for a bike light please. not bulky, long lasting battery, max setting > 1000 lumens, and reasonable charging time. thanks for any response.
I just picked one up and I wouldn't use it for that application. Beam is very narrow and the large head makes it awkward to hold. I would get a floody for an around the house light
How durable are they? What light would you recommend for automotive use. From my experience most guys buy the stream light stinger or the HL model . I never buy the regular one i always get the HL version. The beam distance is only 315meters way more than double. Stream light strion however have proven themselves to be reliable. They can take abuse being accidentally dropped and roughed up , its skiic77uioi
for automotive use, we usually recommend close range lights for working on vehicles. In your case do you mean automotive use more as a searchlight to be used from within a vehicle, shining out?
I’m from Australia and was wondering if I were to order this flashlight from your website how much will it be in Australian dollars and is the website u linked is where i can order it?
Just got my light in. When i unplug it from charging the blue light stays on solid and the light wont turn on. I have to unscrew the tail cap then screw it back on, then it seems to work fine. Anyone else have this problem and know what i can do about it? Kinda defeats the purpose of the convienient usb charging if i have to take off the tailcap everytime anyway.
