@@Averageracingfanhis front left BARELY (I mean literally by PIXELS) touched the rear right of Alonso. Didn’t affect either of them however they did still touch so a collision is a collision. Also f1 2018 is nearly 6 years old now, the hit boxes weren’t exactly perfect at times.
@@fan123noob1you still touched him. That’s what you were warned for. People coming out of the pits usually are judged more heavily when it comes to making contact since they’re way slower than the cars on track which can be dangerous for obvious reasons. You can and will get penalized for infractions in racing regardless of intent.
The reason you only got a warning and not a penalty is because it didn’t cause anything substantial like a crash or spin. You did have another tire-width of room on the right to move to and you knew they were coming from the minimap. Not to mention you didn’t make an effort to look behind you. Not saying those are also reasons for the warning but you should always drive with the mentality of having as little penalties and incidents as possible. You could have avoided this warning pretty easily.
