Yeah, when he sold the ant I was all like "wha?!" Sure, selling gives money, and a pill costs money... but a pill is the only 1-gold food, so it doesn't cost much. While the extra money from selling is not enough for even the food that would boost equivalently, and doesn't persist past the round anyway (so its situational).
Pick team, talks about new idea for a team, saves something for too long, sells things, regrets it, still doesn't win. I'm glad people are enjoying this content but I skip these videos whenever it pops up which is a shame because I enjoy DF Unfortunately, to me every one of these videos for whatever game this is feels the same and nothing ever changes.

oh dear tell me about it! i got that fishing game with the cat n boat. That game is freaking hard and surprisingly frustrating despite the game controls and gameplay being simple

This game isn't FREE! It consumes your soul with every defeat. And yes, "super cricket" will generally win early rounds. As in everything into the cricket till about round four, regardless of any other pets, or lack there of.
It's most likely free because of the food icons being the exact same as the basic ones you get in places like discord, the game may be free to avoid copyright claims they'd recieve if they charged a price whilst using those emotes But that's debatable
It's also not particularly complex, so you'd never get people to pay for it. I bought the expansion pass for like £5, but I would never have bought this game for £5
Your early dragon in the second run would have been entirely worth getting to replace the dolphin and badger for scaling your units. Dragon is amazingly strong, but it takes 2 slots to utilize which normally is too much by tier 6, but if you get it early from an upgrade it’s usually worth it.

DF i know you do these like a month in advance but penguins are bad, once you hit tier 6 lose it as a +1/+1 or even a +2/+2 isnt worth it in comparison to other boosters like monkey or dragon
Ok, I have been playing thanks to DF and I think he should try, hear me out. A honey badger with a turtle behind it, fallowed by a Rooster. Because the honey badger is granted to take out 1-3 other animals depending on how strong it is. And once it faints it will knock out the turtle, whitch will give the rooster Mellon armer. So it's guaranteed 2 attacks. Oh top of that once it gets knocked out it drops a chick with half it's attack, so more damage. It gets better when you upgrade them to level 2 or 3 because more damage, and more free melon armor.
maybe try out team fight tactics. Its a really similar game to this game and its also free. Dont let the league side of it scare you its really alot of fun.
It hurts me _so_ much to see DF take the penguin and then just buy a bunch of canned food and replace half the team. Like seriously, stats are all you need if you can scale hard enough.
This game is free but everyone of you who loves it better find some way to make the devs millionaires otherwise you are the problem with the gaming industry. No, just buying the dlc is not enough. You also need to reward the devs additionally to a point that offsets the opportunity cost for not going for RNG based microtransactions.
Okay so, let me work this out ... The implied problem with the game industry is microtransactions/gatcha. So the way we prevent that kind of scummy tactic is to give lots of money to the developers... voluntarily? We micro-transact...ourselves? I'm feeling a real sense of wrongness that I can't quite put into words.
17:14 There's a bug - when DF moves the parrot behind the leopard, the parrot get an animation for a stats boost from the leopard at the end of the turn (that's the bug) but no stats are actually boosted (which is correct, the leopard don't have that skill) EDIT: commenters below point out that's actually the game's way of showing the parrot is copying the leopard's skill at turn end - Thanks!
That is the game's way of showing you the parrot has copied the ability of the leopard. Still a bit weird that it is the same animation as the stat boost I agree.
Level three skunk with parrot behind is amazing You might be able to tiger it but I’m not sure If you can that’s three units down to one health (Level three skunk takes off 99% health)
